ok lets be honest this is one of the better Filters you can BUY.......the price kinda Sucks and it used to be guaranteed for life.....I know I have 8 others of the Lifers and U bet ur ass I will Hold them to it if need be......But sadly the New Filters are only 10 yrs or a million Miles......well I have over 350k on 4 of the filters and they are 15-20 yrs old......2 of them the rubber is going so I am about to bust some ass and see if K&N keeps their word!
OK lets get back to this filter.......They are a bit Different than the Original K&N Filters they are clearly NOT using the original SPECS.......BUT I cant tell if that is a bad or Good thing yet........what I dont like is the OIL that comes with the FILTER now is NO WHERE NEAR ENOUGH to do the JOB right........GOOD thing I have plenty BC what they give you .........for some one like me going into COW Pastures & Dusty areas it would not be enough..........for the average JOE or JANE it should be ok just GO slow when using oil. what I do after Cleaning and I wont tell yall what we use BC K&N will void your warranty.....BUT when do USE Marvel Mystery oil to replace the OIL they charge 4x as Much for and .............it works Better & Longer!! OLD MAN!
