Will I know immediately if there is fuel system damage? No, some vehicles can still drive for miles with fuel system damage. But there are warning signs to look for, such as, your vehicle struggles or sputters to start, doesn’t start at all, or stalls.
Does it take a long time to replace the fuel filter? No, this varies by vehicle make and model, but if all fuel filter replacement steps are performed properly and safely it should only take you about 1 hour to replace the fuel filter. Your vehicle’s owner’s manual may list the fuel filter replacement procedure for your specific vehicle. Also, some fuel filters use Quick Connects and may require a special tool to replace them.

I used all the the products shown, the engine flush seem to get the engine de-gunked quite well by judging the very very dark black motor oil coming out after the ten minute flush. And that oil and filter only had 3,000 miles on it. I followed up with Cerate additive with the fresh Mobil 1 5w-30 High Mileage full synthetic oil, and AC Delco UPF47R oil filter, and a set of AC Delco 41-101 Professional Spark Plugs, AC Delco Fuel Filter (the one shown is a the old one removed from the car), AC Delco Fuel Pressure Regulator, the Gasoline system cleaner is in the tank doing its job. I've about 100 miles on the 2002 Buick (with 169,000 miles) since all this . And a new air filter. And all I can say is WOW JUST WOW !! It feels like it has 50 more horsepower and much smoother and quieter. It has a lifter tick from time to time and time will tell if all this will alleviate that.
