Come Along with JT through his own groovin' universe of FutureSex/LoveSounds, co-written by Justin Timberlake and produced by Justin Timberlake, JAWBreakers, Timbaland, will.i.am, and Rick Rubin, among others. One spin of FutureSex/LoveSounds and it's hard to believe that Justin Timberlake was ever a boy-band barnstormer--no modern-day male artist beats him when it comes to single-minded self assurance or suavity. "SexyBack," the inescapable summer sizzler of a first single off this short and thrillingly unwholesome disc, makes that clear on its own: If there was ever any question about whether sexy was in need of reviving--a doubtful proposition at best, given the sheer volume of JT's gyrating counterparts--he lays it to rest instantly over a small but insistent Timbaland-concocted beat. On that track, Timberlake's appeal is his sweet but newly thuggish-sounding voice--here's a good kid gone bad, and he's determined to convince us of it not only by tossing a few well-timed mother****ers our way but also with such lyrics as "I'll let you whip me if I misbehave." The rest of FutureSex will feel familiar to anyone who picked up 2002's brilliantly funk-flecked Justified: "Love Stoned/I Think She Knows Me," shifts from Michael Jackson-esque paranoid trilling to pulsating guitar rock; "Chop Me Up," a collaboration with Three 6 Mafia and Timbaland, gives up the grit rap-style but still manages to recall both Prince and Stevie Wonder; "My Love," with T.I., mines classic Timberlake territory with meltaway lyrics like "I can see us holding hands walking on the beach/Our clothes in the sand"; and the straight-up but groovy lament "Losing My Way" asks, searchingly, what may be the silliest question a squeal-inducing pop star has ever posed: "Can anybody out there feel me?" Rest assured, JT: we feel every past-, present-, and future-sexy verse. --Tammy La Gorce

That being said I must say that when I got it I played it OUT!! I was so surprised at how many jams were on the CD. Listened to it day and night, at work, at home while cooking, gardening, reading told everyone I spoke with about it since I was like BLOWN away. Had several favorites from the "GET" and man I just couldn't wait for the radio stations to catch up with the ENTIRE CD because they were still playing "Sexyback" and as time went by and I would hear more singles released and played on the radio my smile was broad and my ears delighted that some of my favorites made it to the radio waves. Timberland and JT did a AWESOME job on this CD with mixing up slow jams (that will move you to close your eyes and nod your head) and dance music that will make you run out to the dancefloor at a club. With the exception of a few songs this CD is solid and I have this thing that if I like if out of a 12 songlist CD I like over 8 of them that is pretty dang good! For the record my faves are:
1. Until the end of Time
2. Lovestoned
3. My Love
4. Future Sex/Love Sounds
5. Losing My Way
6. All Over Again
7. Summer Love
8. What Goes Around (the remix version)
9. Sexyback

Highly recommend it
I bought this because I couldn't, for some odd reason, find an MP3 version with all the songs uncensored. I sat there when I got it and just listened. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's the best CD ever made, but it does get my heart pumping and that's what I like my music to do. I find Justin's voice to be smooth and and the featured artists only add to the music in a positive way rather than in some songs on the radio where they are clearly only there for the name. I have a little problem with the track that has Will.I.Am. on it, but I just have a problem with him in general.
I think this is a good piece of work. Everybody in my family has very different tastes and we have always agreed for the past 4-5 years that this is an appropriate and pleasurable CD to play in the car to make everybody happy.
I got my CD yesturday and was pleasantly surprised when the first track played, "Futuresex Lovesounds", I automatically loved it, I also like "Until The End Of Time", let's just say the CD has been on repeat ever since. The whole CD is good, and Justin has came a long way since he was in Nsync, and I am glad he went a different route. Timbabland provides some phat beats, and Justin's voice is sounding real good. On a few of the tracks he has a very Prince kinda vibe and I am feeling it!!
I am a true R&B kinda girl, and I must say Justin is doing the damn thing!
Get this CD!!
But after a few weeks, I have to admit the album has really grown on me. Timbaland's producing style, while totally different from the Neptunes, does result in some really catchy tunes that I can't quite get out of my head. It's nice to see Justin continuing to take chances with his music, and not get pigeonholed into any one sound (there's no trace of the "Michael Jackson sound-alike" on this album). With this album, he's clearly gained confidence, maturity, and -- I didn't think it was possible -- more sex appeal.
A definite recommend, but prepare to listen to it a few times before you really love it.

The 3 stars is a review on the pressing not the actual content which is wonderful, I think this is JTs best album.
