I absolutely love the size of this baby pool. It just took two large buckets to fill above the first ring and that’s all I really need for my little. We go in once a day and my little loves it and fills with all of the rubber toys. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars, is because the bottom fill doesn’t hold air anymore after two weeks. It’s such a slow leak that we cannot figure out on what seam it’s from. No water leaks out so it’s definitely from the underside. We will continue to use as that doesn’t hurt performance and it is a very inexpensive purchase.

I like that it is easy to empty the pool. We live in Hawaii and the sun is out most days. If left in the sun for too long the bottom of a vinyl pool will get slippery. So I dump the water daily. The bottom of the pool is padded with pockets filled with air when blown up. Also I can bring it indoors and use it as a mini ball pit. My granddaughter can easily climb in and out by herself. She is 11 months. It’s helps keep her cool and occupied.

The good:
1. Design is great, enough volume for a 1-2 year old to play
2. Can make my 1 year old lay down an get use o the idea of lying on your back in water ( or swim class warmup )
3. Material seems sturdy and base pattern also has air so the bottom is soft n cushiony from the hard floor

The bad:
1. Hard to inflate, especially the base we had to squeeze and squeeze to get the air to fill up the far edges
2. Valves are too tiny cannot hook up to pump without some jerry rigging
3. No drain valve to drain out water from below
4. Base is not reinforced, can rip if you drag the pool on rough surface
5. A little more thought into this design would have made this 5 stars!
6. Deflating takes for ever

All in all, I’d look for one that avoids some of not all the issues I’ve mentioned
