Repressing. First time on CD for the one and only LP by 70's teenybop idols Slik which hit the UK Top 75 in 1976, now featuring an additional 12 bonus tracks. This poppy Bay City Rollers-like Glam outfit were fronted by guitarist Midge Ure, later of Ultravox, Thin Lizzy, Visage and Band Aid. Includes their UK No.1 hit single 'Forever And Ever' plus the Top 30 'Requiem', both of which were also Top 30 in Germany. Also includes the German hit singles 'The Kid's a Punk' and 'Dancerama'. Booklet contains original album artwork, loads of European singles sleeves plus detailed liner notes and discography. 7Ts.

70's album which makes me smile

I remember buying the original vinyl album back in the seventies. I had to buy the CD to see why I raved about back in those days. It only for people that remember SLIK or enjoy the 70's music scene. 'Forever and ever' and Requiem' are the 2 stand out singles on the CD. I play this in my car as first thing in the morning it puts a smile on my face! Midge Ure before his Ultravox days, amazing how he came on afterwards(LIve Aid etc..).

Only known for their hit of Forever And Ever, and minor one of Requiem their songs are all similar with and organ in the background. It's a pity they weren't successful as the Bay City Rollers. The album of Slik is more or less the same and have to be in the mood to listen to it.
