Outdated, didn't work

My computer has windows 7 and could not recognize this when I put it in the cardbus slot. And I don't mean just didn't recognize it, it didn't see it at all. I tried to find updated drivers to install for it, but nothing supporting windows 7 use. Apparently, D-Link stopped supporting this product, as seen on their own website. No more updates will be made for it. I suppose if you're still using vista or earlier, it may work okay.

Needed a new wireless card

This card is great. I had an old linksys wireless card in an old compaq laptop that I was using with Ubuntu 8.04. The problem with the card was that it was so old it wouldn't support the newer WPA encryption. Did a little research and decided to go with the d-link rangebooster. Had to do some configuring to get it to work but after that, it works perfectly. Very happy with the speed and also that linux is able to see this card.
