Brassica All Natural Decaf Chinese Sencha Green Tea with truebroc is made with gourmet Chinese Sencha tea. Each tea bag contains 15 mgs of truebroc and is individually foil-wrapped to protect the truebroc and freshness of the tea. When brewed, a cup of tea gives you the same amount of glucoraphanin that you would consume if you were to eat 5 ounces of average adult broccoli. Brassica decaffeinated varieties are naturally decaffeinated through the carbon dioxide (CO2) decaffeination process. This method uses only pure CO2 gas to decaffeinate their teas. This process avoids the chemicals typically used to decaffeinate and is certified organic by two independent organic associations. The carbon dioxide process removes the caffeine while keeping the flavor in the tea. Brassica recommends steeping tea for two minutes for mild tea, or three to five minutes for full flavor. Care should be taken on steeping time because bitterness can result if tea is steeped for longer periods of time. Additionally, longer brewing releases more caffeine. Green tea is typically more bitter than black tea. Therefore, brew green tea for only two minutes. For stronger green tea, they suggest using more tea rather than steeping for a longer time.

I enjoy green tea. But this tea is unique. When you have Sulforaphane and Glucoraphanin combined with Sencha Tea, talk about a powerful antioxidant! People dealing with certain health conditions in their body, primarily "C" please consider this tea. Look up Sulforaphane and Glucoraphanin on google and YouTube, then you'll see why. Drink it for the benefit and not the taste. As someone else mentioned, be careful when opening the packaging for the tea bag. If you can treat the tea bag like a ketchup or mustard pack (fan motion with your hand) and try to get the tea bag pushed downward, you shouldn't have issues accidentally tearing the tea bag.
I bought this tea after learning about it via a Dr. Steven Gundry video on YouTube. I drink several cups of this tea every day, as a breast cancer survivor. I don’t mind the taste of this tea. But if you do, steep a bag of Brassica Tea along with a bag of another tea you enjoy (ie. Mint tea, chamomile, earl gray, jasmine green, etc).
Great tea love the flavor and the reported medical benefits. HOWEVER, when you open the packet you will need to be extra careful not to rip open the tea bag as it sticks to the outside wrapper. I ruined about 15% of all my tea bags until I figures out how to open the foil packet. I spoke to the manufacturer about this and the CEO sent me an email stating that the tea leaves with Brassica are sticky and sometimes sticks to the packet. I would give it a 5 star review if it wasn't for this. I am on my 3rd order so the work around works. Just be careful when you open the packet and you should be fine.
I have been drinking this tea every morning for the last 15 years. (I am in my late 50's). This is an amazing tasting tea in addition to its numerous health benefits. For me it is a relaxing feeling of strength in a cup!
I can't tell if this is high quality brassica tea or not. I got it because I was diagnosed with breast cancer and wanted to prevent new cells from growing. But it tastes disgusting. I don't know if I was expecting it to taste good because I think it's made out of broccoli. Obviously you don't drink it for the taste, but for the benefits it might provide.
