A really great CPU holder! I was looking at a more basic CPU holder originally but when I saw this one was a little more expensive with a lot more functionality I decided to go with this one. Very simple to install just need a drill and a screwdriver. My standard CPU fits great and all of the functionality works as advertised. Highly recommend this holder.

So Close to a Great Product
I really wanted a five-star product. But here is the issue. I have a 9" wide by 19" tall desktop PC. The flange that goes underneath the computer only extends 5 1/2". This means there is tremendous pressure on the dust filter and metal mesh on the bottom of my PC when I would prefer that this flange extend the full 9 inches.Second, in order to get the PC into the unit, I had to either take off its rear foot or give the whole PC another inch of space to hang down. It was quite a pain. Third, the plastic arm that drops down to hold the the PC in place against the flange coming down on the other side only contacts the PC near the top. No contact at all any further down. It looks bad and looks precarious. Fourth, it would be very helpful when mounting my PC in the unit to remove the plastic holding arm. But you cannot do this and reassemble it with the PC in place. But this seems to be an oversight because parts are all machined to accept a 5 1/2 long bolt that could fit into the knob currently attached to a 5/8" or so bolt. The longer bolt would allow you to put the plastic holding arm in place after placing the PC on the metal flanges. And amazing as this may seem, this being 3M, the assembly instructions were pathetic! As I messed with trying to get my PC mounted, the whole unit rolled totally out the front and fortunately, I caught it! Nothing I noticed in the instructions told me to secure it in place IMMEDIATELY lest the PC can slide out and fall to the floor.Anyway, it is all in place now. I will look into getting that 5 1/2" bolt I mentioned. I would love to extend that lower flange all the way across the base of my PC, but that may be quite difficult.Updated: The Holder as designed did not work for my desktop. It was not secure. But I got the holder to work by replacing the outer bracket with a common 15" Rubber Bungee Cord (e.g. https://www.amazon.com/ROBLOCK-Heavy-Duty-Crimped-Securing-Canvases/dp/B085Q2Z7G7/), a chain, and a third bungee hook. Why the chain vs. trying to use a 20" to 21" bungee? So you have the flexibility to choose degrees of tightness for the bungee. And mine it tight!

Calificado en Estados Unidos el 3 de mayo de 2014Excellent product. Easy assembly, despite other reviews. I set up 2 of these for my office computers in about 30 minutes. Computers now rotate and slide as needed, and feel very secure/safe in the holders. I used to have some on-the-floor type holders (on rollers) for my CPUs, but the are much better. It is now much easier to get at the back of the CPU as well as clean under them. The holders also look sharp.

Calificado en Estados Unidos el 18 de enero de 2012I decided to install this CPU case to raise my Mac Pro off the floor. Primarily I wanted to keep dust from accumulating behind the desk. Installation was not difficult. You are provided with a template, you drill 6 holes and mount the top portion, then the sliding portion attaches fairly easily. It's more difficult to adjust the hanging portion to the right length and this party would be much easier done with two people. I used two yoga bricks to set the case and then adjust the height and removed the bricks after I was done. The product is very well made. This is something you'd expect given the price, but still nice to know that you are getting your money's worth. My desk area now looks very nice and organized thanks to this product.

Calificado en Estados Unidos el 6 de noviembre de 2015Exactly what I was looking for. Works perfectly to hold my gaming PC on my height-adjustable sit/stand desk. Easy to slide out to change inputs on back. Plastic arm *feels* a little flimsy during install, but not that it's installed, it feels quite secure. Hopefully it will stay that way! Note: Instructions are poor and was missing 2 screws: be sure to drill screws in to all four outside corners of the rack once the slidey part is installed, or it will slide out the back/front.

Calificado en Estados Unidos el 6 de octubre de 2021There are so many flaws with this thing.
1. The design: Its not held together by screws or even some clever interlocking fasteners. Its just hung together in the most insecure way possible. Its just balancing on sharp metal slits that can come crashing down. I actually dropped my PC twice while trying to hang it underneath the desk.
2. The holding capability is limited to smaller ITX workstation cases that were common back in the early 2000s. I bought this because 3m's description says it can handle a 50lbs case. Its all BS. It technically can hold 50lbs, because its bent sheet metal, but in truth, it cannot hold a mid atx case and prevent it from drooping down towards the floor.
3. The materials: Its unrefined sheet metal with plastic. The mounting base is very thin sheet metal that is coated in some really bad truck-spray liner. Its all one giant sheet of metal that feels like a lettuce shredder. The sharp edges and lack of mounting protection gashed the case of my $4k gaming PC.
The second flaw in the materials is the arm that is supposed to secure to the base. Its made entirely of some flexible plastic. This is the piece that is supposed to keep the whole PC tower from falling down.
The bottom part of the 3m PC holder is just badly designed. The part where the case sits is about 3", which totally throws the PC case off balance. It tries to fall on its side and the only thing holding it in place is the hollow plastic flap. In my pics, I posted my work around. I had to use motorcycle straps to ratched down the pieces from falling. This was the only way, i could have gotten the whole PC and case holder in place. Its just so stupid.

Mike MalinCalificado en Canadá el 12 de marzo de 20215.0 de 5 estrellas Awesome case mount!
Install was easy, I was skeptical that it would hold the weight of the tower but after my tower was put in place those worries went away. Highly recommend for quality and ease of install.

This is the one you want!
This CPU mount is simply perfect. It slides from front to back of the desk AND swivels. This way you can easily get behind the CPU to change out cabling whenever necessary. Above all, this mount will also keep your PC off the ground which will drastically reduce the amount of dust entering the intake vents thus reducing critical cooling airflow to your computer's internal components. Highly recommended.

VernCalificado en Canadá el 4 de marzo de 20214.0 de 5 estrellas A squeeze with big cases and a little wobbly but secure
I have a largish ATX case (NZXT H440 - 220mm x 513mm x 480mm). Bracket is attached to an Ikea desk with sit-stand legs and has been rather stable once I got the tower positioned so it was balanced. Seems to handle the weight and is easy to access the machine with the slide and rotate. Could have a little bit more padding and accessibility with large systems right near the limits of what fits to be great but otherwise its probably one of the best options for large and/or heavier systems.

ZuziCalificado en Canadá el 4 de julio de 20185.0 de 5 estrellas They really hold up
We have been buying these for our customers projects which hold a very large and heavy CPU. Easy to install and hold up in a hospital environment. They are cheaper here then the other place with free delivery.
