    This is a great charger. Came with 10 9volt batteries and it took several hours to charge them. Longer than usual to charge these 9v batteries but these batteries are 250 Mah so I believe this charger would process the less powerful batteries in less time. If you can find this item, don't wait to by it as it has the most powerful batteries as an incentive to purchase. Carries my microphones for weeks. Can't wait to see them die so I can recharge them.

    I bought these for our church. We've had them for about a month now and our services last about 2 hrs per service...and we get about 3 services out of each charge for a total of six hours per battery per charge...so I think that is very good. So I am happy :)

    I purchased the 9volt (10 bay) charger that included 10 (250mAh) batteries... and couldn't be happier.

    I'm a Musician (Keyboardist but use 2 wireless transmitters on guitars). that means going through two 9 volts a night. That adds up when working/playing 20 nights a month. For me, and after 5 months, the Tenergy Nimh rechargeable 9 volts hold a charge for a constant 3 hours & 55 minutes in my wireless units. Although my band plays for 4 hours, I simply turn the guitar transmitters off during one of my (15 minute) breaks to compensate. The 250mAh rating is also the KEY, so don't buy any Nimh battery brand with a lesser rating. Takes about 2 hours to recharge. These 5 month old 9 volts work as good as they did when purchased new.

    I also purchased the Tenergy AA(2600mAh)/AAA charger unit at that same time. That charger also works great.

    FYI - PLEASE NOTE:
    Did some research. ANY rechargeable Nimh battery should not be used for smoke alarms, weather radios, flashlights or any other device that set "idle/unused for extended periods of time". By their nature, ALL Nimh batterys lose their charge quicker than other types of NON-Nimh batteries. Nimh are made to give maximum power before going dead (aka: you won't get a warning the battery is going to die... it simply goes dead when their time is up).

    In conclusion... Buy them!!!!!
