    1-1/2 Years Later - Strong As Ever! 9.92 Volts The A/C Wall Charger still works perfectly! I use these in my wireless guitar transmitter pack. Charge them once per week and if you check my photos you can see that even after 18 months they still charge up to an average of 9.6 Volts. (One as high as 9.92v) I can get about 3 hours of moderate use before they die...and they do so without warning! This is good and bad. This is good for guitar because your sound doesn't tend to degrade for very long and make you wonder what the actual cause might be. This is bad for guitar because the power cuts off "all of a sudden", usually right in the middle of your solo. -So after two 45-minute sets I change batteries to save prevent this. A small transistor radio could last all night long. I have an MP3 player that went over 11 hours on a single AAA battery, and 6-8 hours on a pair of AA batteries in a little amplifier speaker. I would not recommend using rechargeable batteries in a taser -lol. I have even used the wall charger to recharge regular alkaline batteries, but I don't suggest this unless you are a certified battery aficionado, and certainly would not let them charge unsupervised without every precaution known to mankind for protection, safety and minimal risk or accident or injury. I will order the same brand again and see no reason why not. They have served me well for a terrific price.

      I own a lot of NiMH batteries ... mostly AAs & AAAs, but I do have a fair amount of C, D and 9V.

      First off, for ANY NiMH rechargeable battery one must have a good quality charger to get the most out of your batteries.

      Re: these Tenergy 250 mAh 9-Volt batteries, these and the Tenergy LSD - Low Self Discharge - are the best 9V batteries that I have used. They retain a charge for a long time. I've switched over all 7 of my home's smoke detectors to these. If you do use these in Smoke Detectors, just ensure you have a few spares to replace a "chirping" smoke detector battery when they get low and set-off the Low Battery chirp/alarm.

      I've been extremely happy with these and the Tenergy LSDs and I highly recommend both of those Tenergy products.

      5 years ago, I ordered 4 Tenergy 9V batteries + charger for my wireless guitar transmitters. Worked great for about 5 years, then they all failed at about the same time (would only last about 15 minutes). No worries, a good run!
      These new Tenergy batteries fit in the old charger and work great! Back in business.

      I actually bought these things by accident - I was looking for regular, non-rechargeable 9V batteries.
      I found out there were rechargeable once I opened the package.
      Because they were basically useless by themselves, I did end up buying the Tenergy 9V charger soon after.
      I own a number of DMM's, automotive analyzers, and smoke detectors now, so having these batteries is handy - being able to swap them out right away is a big plus!
      They last surprisingly long, so in the end, you save money!

      I use these to power our wireless microphones and guitars for our church. Previously I had used off the shelf energizer and duracell rechargeables but they never lasted very long before we started having issues. I saw these and was leery about them since I had no idea who the manufacturer was but the reviews were good and I needed something better than what I had been using. So I bought 12 of these almost exactly 1 year ago and still have 8 of them (2 walked off over the past year and I just threw two of them away last week because they were fading after 30 minutes) These batteries get used for about 6 hours a week and are total workhorses. I'm writing this review 1 year later as I'm getting ready to purchase 8 more to replace the lost/dead ones.

      I don't like that it has the tendency to "flat line" to the point that it won't recharge without jumping the battery with a fully charged 9 volt. I do however like the fact that it all you need to get it to accept a charge is to jump it with said 9 volt. Positive to Positive and negative to negative for just a few seconds and you can drop into the charger and its good to go. You can avoid this situation by turning off the item it's being used in or recharge the battery before it flat lines/ is dead.
