I gave this guitar 4 stars because considering the price, it's a good product. However, if you're a serious guitarist looking for a serious instrument, you may want to spend more. The neck has good action which makes it easy to play and the built in pickup sounds good. Not amazing, but it has a full sound, better than some other guitars in this price range. Unplugged, it sounds ok, but it really lacks the tone and volume of the more expensive models. This guitar works best when plugged in.

The tuners are high quality and hold tune well, and the black finish looks nice but scratches can be easily seen on it. The guitar's not very heavy, which makes it feel a little fragile. I don't feel like it's built to last. The biggest drawback is the lack of a built-in tuner, this is a big issue for playing live shows. If you're going to tune you have to unplug from the PA and plug into a tuner, or buy a pedal tuner and leave it plugged in. Or tune by ear, which the audience does not want to hear. If you have a pedal tuner or are not planning to perform live shows, it's not an issue.

Overall I'd recommend this guitar to the aspiring player as a starter, or for the casual guitarist who jams with friends and does the occasional open mic night, but if you have any more serious ambitions, buy something a little better.

I give 5 stars not for the guitar, but for (guitar&price).
I can hardly believe that you can find a better new electric acoustic guitar for 200$.
Yes, you can find a better used one. But most likely, this one will still be comparable.

I like the neck of the guitar. Pretty good in the hand.
Also, it stays tuned for long.
What it is important for me, strings don't rattle even if I play 2-3 halftones lower.

it doesn't play easily when you first get it . it needs to be altered. you have to press really hard to play chords. barre chords are ridiculously hard to accomplish. with mine, the action is way too high at the bottom bridge nut, and too low at the top nut, for easy playing. if you lower the bridge nut, it needs to be raised at the top nut. the plastic used for the top nut wears very quickly. i'm not a guitar luthier, so i've had some trouble getting the action low enough for easier playing.

This is a decent guitar, but you definitely want to upgrade if you've been playing guitar for a while and are pretty good at it. It's definitely a good guitar for beginners, and goes good with intermediate players too. Just make sure that if you are getting this guitar, buy a cloth to clean it with because black shows fingerprints and smudges like no other.
