So, I had read practically all the critical reviews, and I was very skeptical. Not sure wether to get this or Black Ops. I thought about it "come on its only $19.73 plus shipping" and then I made my move. 3 days later(great job with the shipping btw)I get it, and after creating an account with steam which wasn't very difficult(I dont know why every one is complaining about it..hmm..) and downloading the game(took about a hour and a half)I get on to SinglePlayer.
The first thing I notice is the terrific sounding music, really pulls you into the game!The second thing I notice is the extraordinary graphics! I was really blown away by the difference to MW1. Now on to the gameplay, even though I haven't beaten the game yet ( I know 5-6 hour terrific campaign, what is this goofball thinking?!)I hafta say its unbelievable. I don't know, it for some reason makes me feel really proud to be an American.
I haven't played much of Spec Ops so I can't say much about it, but I will say, it will keep you busy well after you finish the campaign.
Now for what you have all been waiting for..Multiplayer!..So like I said earlier I read almost all the reviews and the majority of them were all talking about 2 things:(1) Nobody plays online anymore! NOT TRUE! sure if you want to play Ground War or 3rd person mode it might take a while to find a match,But if you go to capture the flag, domination, and regular team deathmatch in 1-5 minutes you will find a match.(2) Too many hackers! Yep that is a problem for sure, if you get into a hacked server they will finish all your challanges for you in about 20 seconds. Of course, you can leave before they get more than 10 challanges done. Now if I was rank 70, I would say fine go ahead get my fall camo for me, Thanks! But since I was only rank 15, and I didn't even realize what they were doing before it was to late
I just left the match and switched to prestige mode which fixed it. Of course you will probably find those aimbot hackers and wall hackers, but you know what people, JUST LEAVE THE STINKING MATCH, it isn't that hard!
I have had the game for 2 weeks now, and I have to say...I like it...(btw wonna add me on steam? name's Cobra)...

I own Every Call of Duty game made for the PC. -Call of duty 5 World at War which I have on my PS3.

The Modern Warfare series is better than the World War 2 that made Call of Duty a house hold name.

Call of duty 4 Modern Warfare 1 was amazingly fun and had great assortment of weapons and good but small simple maps.

Call of duty 4 Modern Warfare 2 builds upon COD 4 with more guns, bigger maps, better perks, more over all customization.

Some say that it is not worth play.... That would be a out right FanBoy Lie. People That say that have never even played the game!

Most of these reviews on this site and many other sites are out right lies and trying to make you think MW2 is so bad that they want you to Boycott it!

Go to Gamespot, GameTrailers, Gamespy, etc for for a review by people who own the game!

It is true that it is missing dedicated servers. Which I do hope they will bring in at a later date so the player can decided if he wants to use IWnet or dedicated servers to play online.

After playing Online for over 18 hours I have only seen a total of 3 minutes of lag! This game is very playable and it is very fun.

Now lets talk about steam. Steam is a great program that you have to have to play this game. Steam is made by valve who are the giants behind Half-life 1 and 2 , Team Fortress 2, Portal just to name a few. Steam is great. You start it up and it auto patches all your games. Meaning you don't have to go search file servers to find a patch and install it. Steam takes all the leg work out of keeping your games playable. More about steam click here:[...]
