The movies are great. First movie is always the best. The second and the third are ok. The forth so call movie is the 2-part pilot of the TV series. It tells a different story and with different casts. It is pretty good. I may order the TV series to see how it ends. The set comes with 2 DVDs. They are not flipper. Each disc has 2 movies. There is no extra or any preview. The discs start with the main manual for selecting which movie to start. Each movie has English and Spanish subtitles.

Good bargain. 5 Stars

Action packed...a must buy!

Wesley Snipes did an outstanding job in the movies Blade; Blade 2; and Blade Trinity. In Blade he battles with (Actor Stephen Dorff) who plays a vampire set on becoming the ultimate vampire by using Blade's blood to destroy the vampire elders; and possess their combined powers. These powers will make him stronger than any force; and totally immune to sunlight.
Blade 2 takes the viewer in a little different direction. There is a disease running rampant through the vampire and human populace, which causes the host body to mutate into something truly subhuman and almost impossible to defeat. Blade joins forces with a team of ninja like vampires, in hopes of wiping out the mutants thereby preserving the vampire and human races.
Blade Trinity is the final chapter of the Snipes Collection wherein Blade starts out by killing what appears to be two vampires, which turns out to be only half right. Upon killing the second vampire he discovers though the first of the two was a real vampire, the second was merely a familiar or more accurately a human who does a vampire's bidding. Blade has been set up and is on the run, but ultimately captured! He is then sprung from jail by his ex mentor's daughter and her friends...and is intangled in a plan to destroy Dracula and his evil vampire pals, who released him from his tomb. Their hope is to possess his powers...and become daywalkers like Blade. The fourth installment in this collection is the first episode from the miniseries Blade starring Kirk Jones, which I have already rated. Each movie has a great storyline...and when you combine it with all the out of this world special effects; sword play; and Snipes other moves, "Well it just doesn't get any better than that folks!"

Would have been perfect if the Blade 1 DVD wasn’t messed up ...

This four-disc set is a really good bargain under ideal circumstances. Unfortunately, when it comes to our package, the first Blade DVD keeps faltering, then stopping altogether, during the scene where Blade encounters his mother. Trying to go backward or forward yields various results, none of them satisfying. The two sequels play fine. (We don’t care about the fourth DVD.) We will just keep the set and try to score a deal on the original Blade elsewhere.

Good collection for Blade Aficionados

I've been a fan of blade since it premiered.

For those who may not know the series, please be adviced that the first movie is the best by far, and things went downhill from there. Also, bear in mind that "House of Chthon" is "sort of" a reboot and the first two episodes of a short lived TV series on Spike TV. If you compare to a movie, is bad. But as TV series go, is quite good.

Then again, for the price, is A-OK

The blade series of movies is great. I was disappointed with the 4th movie installment because Wesley Snipes was not playing blade and the movie had no ending, due to the fact that its an opening for the Blade television series. I didn't even know that there was a tv series. the blade movies 1-3 are great and has great effects and story line. Thanks for the fast shipping and great price.

This is a pretty good set for a pretty good price. I wouldn't exactly say that this trilogy (I haven't watched the fourth video and don't plan to) is great but if you are in the mood for swords guns and vampires this is the trilogy for you!

First 3: good. 4th: don't bother

I didn't even know there was a 4th movie until I saw this. I made it through about 15 min of it and then quit. The first 3 are the normal Blade movies. They aren't anything magnificent, but they are good. When I purchased this it was cheaper to buy the 4 together than to get just the 3 in a pack.

I truly love the blade movies and now I have all four ( Wesley Snipes ) stars in ( Blade ,1, 2 and 3., Something I did not know until I watched the 4th one it isn't ( Wesley Snipes ) playing blade it's ( Kirk Jones aka Sticky Fingaz ) who did an amazing job playing blade he kicks butt and is a damned good actor. I was in vampire heaven watching these 4 movies, if you love vampire movies you won't be disappointed with this set lots of action from start to finish great characters and excellent plots. The reason I am not saying a lot more is others reviewers have covered everything.
