    George Whitefield has been my hero for many years and I love having these selected sermons on my kindle. I have looked one up on something similar to a sermon I am preparing to see how he deals with it and sometimes I look up one I especially like. But I can never read just a part of it. It always pulls me in to read the whole thing. It is amazing how powerful just reading his sermons can be. It is almost like I am hearing and seeing him. There is reason many still consider he was one of the best preachers ever!

    I enjoyed reading this sermons, both as research and just for the sermons. I had heard that Whitefield's sermons were more dependent on his delivery than their content, but that was not my experience with these examples, both in my reading and having the kindle reading app narrate them to me.

    When reading Spergon, J. C. Ryle and other classic Christian writers I discovered and common name, George Whitefield. His sermons reflect timeless truths because they are based on Biblical doctrines. His way of expression is extreemly memorable.
