Great light for the patio, camping, or even as an emergency light for the house.
Adjustable brightness switch, easy operation, and a piece of cake to change the batteries. I had purchased a light similar to this from Costco, but found that it did not supply enough light (I barbecue quite often, and with the sun going down in Arizona as early as it does, need some light so that I do not provide "burnt offerings" to any guests) for me to cook well.
This lamp was 4 times the price of the one from Costco, but worth every cent of it. The old adage still hangs in - you get what you pay for.
Be prepared to pay for a bunch of D batteries, but having said that, they should last around 100 hours of normal light.
Lamp itself is sturdy (what else would you expect from Coleman), a bit heavy (an asset - it will not blow over), and a very good light
