Very strong and stable for heavy planters.

I have a handful of planters which are 12-14" diameters and are fairly heavy. I was seriously considering getting a dolly which had the water catching drawer built in but there was just something about the design I didn't like. So I ended up buying this item which has turned out to be much more stable and weight bearing than I think any of those other designs are, based on reviews I'd read. All I had to do for my watering concerns was to place some saucers I already had on the dolly (I think they were bout $6 at local box store) and this turned out to be the best of both worlds.

I never even knew plant dollies existed, but this thing is ridiculously useful. I have two big whiskey barrel planters on these puppies. They work great. There is no way I could move the barrels around without them. And the best part is THERE IS A HOLE IN THE MIDDLE which allows water to drain out!! I can't believe some of the sizes don't have the hole... I don't understand that. Anyway, these are great, and they make me want to get some more potted plants.

You Will Not Be Happy With This Dolly

The main problem I had with Devault's plant dollies is with the wheels and casters. The caster bearings tend to freeze up which causes one or two of the wheels to not roll when the dolly is moving. Since the wheels are made of hard rubber, they just grind down making a flat spot on the wheel which causes the ol' "wump wump." If you use these for rolling kegs, that can be a big problem. I switched to the Stack!Co black keg dolly and that dolly is so much better!

Great for medium to large potted plant

Like its 24" big brother, this is a solidly made, very stable product. Just be sure to drill a few 3/8" holes in it if you have a live plant and the pot has drain hole(s) on the bottom otherwise water will collect in the center of the dolly. Not a problem if you are using it with an artificial plant. Large size rubber wheels allow it to Roll easily on exposed aggregate concrete and also wooden decking. Well worth the price.

Sturdy and Smooth Rolling

This lightweight but strong and sturdy Plant Dolly is exactly what I needed for a Jade plant that had grown so large and heavy that it is almost impossible to move. It took two of us to hoist that botanical monster onto the dolly, but once there, it is secure and rolls as easy and smooth as silk! And the clean, simple lines are very attractive for an indoor plant.

Pricey but worth every penny. I can move large plants from deck to inside quickly when weather threatens , only bump is the door sill.
Doesnt tip and rolls where you push it. Tray is important for drips but has open center to allow good drainage for pots.

I bought these plant dollies in all three sizes. I use the largest one to roll heavy garbage bags down my driveway to the curb. You can also put a garbage can on them and roll it. The smallest one is perfect for rolling a 28lb bag of cat food or litter to where you want it. I just used it to roll eight cases of cat food from the door where I bring the food in to where I store it. These take up less room and are easier to use than a hand truck.
