These are a great solution for moving my table saw in and out of storage for use. They were relatively easy to mount (a little drilling, but pretty easy) and they raise and lower quite easily. One important consideration is that these only provide a small clearance and when raised roll on casters so the clearance of the saw legs is scant - which means that this would not work well on uneven surfaces. For example, rolling this around my very old garage that has some seams that have heaved or sunk by a quarter to a half inch does catch the legs when rolling on those spots, but those are rather limited circumstances in my case. A newer, perfectly flat/seamless slab or shop floor would not post a problem. Considering the reasonable price and the difficulty of moving a table saw without rollers (which was my previous condition), these were well worth the price.

I use these on most of my heavy bench top equipment mounted on tool stands in my workshop. This is my second purchase of these for the additional equipment I added to my workshop. My first purchase was a number of years ago and they proved to be both reliable and invaluable. Note that I use these in pairs and thus can handle two tool stands with the four casters provided. I mount a pair on two (closer) of the four legs of the tool stand. When I need to move the bench mounted tool and its stand I lower the two casters and then lift the other end of the tool stand about 1" off of the ground and roll it to its intended position. For most of my bench mounted power equipment this requires little effort .

These casters are not very robust. They work OK on a perfectly smooth concrete floor, but will be difficult on rough concrete or wooden factory floors. The problem is the casters are not wheels but are "Balls" which have a very small contact area at the tangent point. These are attacked by the floor and make the casters very difficult to swivel when changing directions. Again, not so much an issue on a smooth floor.

This is the smoothest adjustable roller I've used, and I've used a lot. I have a garage woodshop, so everything is on wheels. If I could use these for everything I would. The only drawback is that they are designed only for the triangular style legs found on lightweight saws and other lightweight power tools. I use mine on a scroll saw stand and it is perfect. It does add about 6" on right and left, but its worth it to be able to easily move it about the shop.

Work Great on my Old Craftsman 10" table saw.

Needed something to allow me to move my heavy, old (1970's) Craftsman 10" table saw around my very small wood shop. Checked out several options and these seemed to be the best and the price was reasonable. The casters mounted fine in the bottom holes that were already present in the table saw legs. There were no holes on the legs that would fit the top caster mounting holes so I had to remove each leg, one at a time, to drill these. After all was finished these casters work great. Its now very easy to move this around and out of the way when I need the extra space for a project. When the casters are lowered the saw sits on its original pads and doesn't move.

Gave a 5-star rating as these work great and seem sturdy and well built.

I could not be happier with these wheels. I had no problem installing them and the only thing I would recommend is making sure you camp them before drilling, and then use a smaller drill and predrill. it will speed things up a lot. They work great, may look a bit funny, but I will take that in return for how well they work lol

The casters work well. When one releases the lever on a raised caster, the drop is a bit unceremonious. I do like them.

My issue is with the hardware supplied for attaching and securing the caster. The bolts are too short and it's a simple washer/nut to lock in place. In my case, my saw has rubber feet that extend up the leg an inch or two. Trying to go over it on both sides meant there was too little bolt for the washer/nut to attach. I fooled around with cutting the rubber feet to accommodate the caster. I had to cut both sides to do a proper job and after one side of one leg I quit. Instead I went out and got 1" - 5/16" bolts and lock washers and re-did the job much more easily and better.
