I own a number of Victorinox (Swiss) knives and multitools. The tools are all well made BUT I HATE to use belt pouches. I prefer to pocket carry my tools. The problem is, that without some type of clipping mechanism, the tools can "float" around in a pocket. Making it difficult to get too when you need it.
This clip effectively solves this problem. It attaches firmly to the Swiss Army Knife (SAK) or multiple (Spirit in my case). It slides into an on to a pocket with ease. (There is no danger of damaging the pocket with this clip.) It will hold the tool in place securely. Only releasing when you press the clip button.
It was designed for cell phones and iPods, but it works create for SAKs as well.
Keep in mind that the surface, that you wish to attach it, should be smooth and non-porous. Also, be careful where you place it, as it may be impossible to reposition later.
This has made it MUCH easier to carry my Spirit and Ranger models. I would advise against using it with a SAK with more than 5 layers. The adhesive will hold, but it will look awkward in your pocket.
