It’s an over priced plastic intake tube. There was a punch in the vacuum line when I tried installing it. Bought an elbow. Now it works. Only increased mileage here in the city by.... half a mile per gallon. Worth it over possibly voiding my warranty over the stock set up? Nope. Not really. Went from 10.6 to 11.1 mpg. Save yourself money and just do the drop in factory filter replacement. The $50 of filter, metal and plastic isn’t worth the $300* you pay for only a marginal, if any, gain in mileage. I really like K&N, but I think this was more gimmick than anything else. First photo is with everything K&N gives you in the kit, second is after a trip to NAPA when you already spent $300-$400 on something that was a “ready to rock”-lots-of-assembly-required-and-you-still-don’t-have-all-the-parts-you’ll-need- kit.By C.
