I had never heard of this dude before seeing this but he is super funny! He's a young up and comer and a writer for 30 Rock. His jokes actually make you LOL and his impressions (Tracy Morgan, Chris Rock & President Obama) are spot on! His brand of humor is both intelligent & outrageous! He runs the gamut from racial humor to being a nerd to darker funnier themes! Definitely check this guy out! Look for him to be a major force in the comic word soon!

I saw this episode live the first day it aired and I loved Pete Holmes from that moment. This was one of the first things I bought when I got my Amazon Prime subscription and I show this episode to anyone who expresses an interest in comedy and I tell them that this guy is the EPITOME of a hard-working comic: stand-up comedian, sitcom writer, voiceover actor, podcaster, potential late night talk-show host, he does it all and he does it well. I love his humor because in so many ways he thinks, and then says in an adorable and animated way, what I'm usually thinking in the same situations. He strikes me as the guy whom everyone loves and everyone loves to be around and I can't wait for more stand-up specials from him.

Most of these so-called stand-up comedians should be embarrassed by the pathetic drivel they call humor. I scrolled through all 15 seasons and was able to find (maybe) only one or two, each season, worth a second glance.

any one of these guys and the one or two women is great but you try and watch a bunch of this, you get bummed out by how they are way too much the same --- black or white, male or female, something repetitive going on here. Comedy is for clubs I guess.

Pretty lame. 1/2 Star.
I watched parts of several eposodes, that's all I could take.
Aspiring comedians who ... yeah ... need to keep working at it. Some need to look for a new career. Not very funny (for me).

I've known Donald Glover from his role in community and so I had a good feeling going in but I have to say he really did impress me. He was a refreshing change from most comedians and didn't feel the need to be constantly offensive to be funny. Bravo Donald and I look forward to more episodes of community.
