I bought this because I have an extreme sensitivity to yeast and I find anything with an “extract” bothers me. Out goes stevia extract, monk fruit extract, and also sugar alcohols :(So far, I think this is pretty good!! I have added it whole leaf right in my lattes but have found when I blend it to a fine powder it really helps sweeten the drinks!! It def has an herbal taste to it, however I think it is something that will be easily acquired. If you get a big chunk or use too much it does have the similar metallic taste like store bought. I have added to my “sleep spell” (similar to a turmeric latte w/ more spices) and I can’t really taste the herbal taste. More noticeable in my espresso drinks. I will also try making a syrup like another review suggested.Worth a shot! FYI -I haven’t tried any other whole leaves to compare flavor. Picture shows leaves ground down.

I use this stuff to sweeten blends of fruit tea I concoct from things normally tossed out. For example, orange rinds, apple peelings and a few other fruits. The teas turn out quite good and, at least on a small scale, our household produces less garbage, while producing fruit and herbal teas the family enjoys. The Stevia leaves add just enough sweetness to my blends without adding a gylcemic load to them. I add them directly into the dry tea blends and don't know how one would extract the sweetness while leaving the leaves behind.
A word of caution is in order. The leaves, are potently sweet and should be used in small quantities, for whatever volume you're sweetening. If you're trying them for the first time, take a pinch and place it on the tip of your tongue while munching it with your front teeth. This gives you the experience you need to begin using stevia without overdoing it.
I recommend this product highly. The quality is excellent.
I find stevia is the best in the least processed form, whole leaves. I add the leaves to my Yerba mate leaves each morning. Only need 1/4 teaspoon per tea pot of Yerba mate. Never an after taste like with stevia powder and liquid. I tried 3-4 other brands and find this one the best. It is pure clean stevia leaf. Thank you for great quality and service.
This is good quality organic stevia leaf, cut and sifted (leaves, not powder). It is sweet. My only complaint is that $12 for 4oz seems very expensive (that's $48/lb). I will be trying other brands that are more affordably priced, such as Mountain Rose Herbs (not on Amazon, $15/lb) or Go Nutra (on Amazon $20/lb). I am using this medicinally and I go through 4oz pretty quickly. But if you just need a little and don't mind the price then I highly recommend this product.
This is a huge improvement over powder stevia. That stuff leaves a terrible aftertaste and is insanely sweet! This stevia leaf is also sweet, but much more mellow. You still only need a tiny amount, and I never use much over 1/8 tsp to sweeten some herbal infusions. Stevia leaf is useful to have, especially so you can avoid sugar and get used to tastes that are more mild and natural. It doesn't mix with every herb, and just a tad too much can make you scrunch your face up. So start really small!
Use for making iced tea and tisanes in my tea maker. Provides the right amount of sweetness. I first ordered the smaller size to test it out and then ordered the very large size since it was so good. Will be reordering this when I run low.
I've been using chopped stevia leaves to sweeten tea fr years. This immediately looked different fro other brands I've used. It's loaded with 1-2 inch long stems or leaf veins. And using the same amount per pot as my previous brand doesn't sweeten adequately, so I'll have to use more of this. Disappointing.
