So this is the first meter I own but not the first I used and know of. By far a superior product. Although this is there lower end model as far as price but construction and built is to the highest standards. I know I sound like there sales man but you know for under $60 you can afford to experience the awesomeness that is this meter. Great for electronics professionals and beginners alike.

It works well, but I have blown a fuse and cannot readily find replacements. No one has the exact size which the manual says to replace with "original type." Fuse 1 is 500ma/500V 6.35x32mm and fuse 2 is 10A/600V 6.35x25.4mm. If you get this multimeter don't blow a fuse and you'll be fine.

I like the design and functionality. The unit that was shipped to me us faulty and gave incorrect readings. Will be returning as I apparently can't exchange.

Edit 8/1/2014: Inexplicably stopped giving me bum readings. Only gripe now is that the LCD is not backlit as indicated in the product description. Otherwise, very happy with the purchase.

I'm really happy with the condition of the meter, however, the package was missing 3 parts.

1) Was the 9 volt battery. Not a big deal, except the fact that at the bottom of product description it has a "What's in the Box" section and it states a 9 volt battery is in the Box.

2) The strap on the back was missing, which is partially the reason I got this model.

3) The extra fuse.

Nowhere on the ad did it say it was missing parts. Pretty disappointed.

Nice looking well built meter. Selector switch has nice feel. I use it with the stand so it's on my work bench most of the time. It also has a magnet on a strap attached to the stand and I've used it a few times and found it handy to hang against the wall when my bench gets too cluttered. Leads that came with it are good but I use a set I bought on Amazon that has changeable tips(Extech TL809 Electronic Test Lead Kit). I mainly use mine with hook clips that allow hands free use. Gets used a lot and no problems.
