Nice blades but plastic

Super sharp and cuts cigars with a super smooth action. The leather holster is a nice touch but at the end of the day this is still just a premium plastic cigar cutter. I would prefer a metal cutter with blades of this quality. Nonetheless, still a very nice cutter for casual cigar smoker.

I've used many cutters including the Xicar and other popular styles and models. This one has a strange squeezing action just prior to the cut. At first I thought the squeezing would unravel the cigar wrapper but it's so sharp, it squeezed for a brief second, then just pops the top right off. It's like it's going through butter at that point. Always a super sharp, precise cut. I won't use anything else now.

This thing cuts great. I have used a couple of the others that had the wood grain finish or the carbon fiber finish and they looked a little better out of the box. I chose this one because I have heard those finishes wear off after a while but this one just looks a little cheaper because of the black plastic. It works great so I'm really happy with it.
