Well got these clips as I had seem many people use them to help them make face masks in the times of covid. So I got some as I too am making masks. I will say they are quite sturdy and have a great grip. I got the mini’s which have a more narrow clipping end. Perfect for holding fabric together. I also like that there is a flat bottom part which makes it easier to keep fabric straight. I was actually using paper binder clips, which are a bit to wide, but in a pinch they worked fine. But these mini clips work even better.
I also like that they have bright colors, easy to see and find if you drop them. The clips have a great grip and even have a small pimple/dot to have a spot that really grabs the fabric. I found this out when I was using the clips to hold down my paper pattern to the fabric and found a little tiny divot in the paper. I would recommend these clips to anyone that sews. I would also recommend this brand, well made and designed tools and sewing accessories. And they all seem to be Made In Japan not China.
I had a small package of the Mini Wonder Clips that I liked better than the other larger sizes for most of what I do in sewing, and wished I had more but they're quite expensive usually.. I found these at a good price on Amazon, better than at any fabric store, if I could even FIND them locally. They hold fabric together well, come in several colors, in a nice little box that has them sectioned by color. An all around good deal, enjoy using them.
I bought these on a whim a few weeks ago and have ended up using them almost constantly -- the hold is amazing. Great grip with no slippage, but still very easy to get on and off. At the time I bought them, I was doing a project that had hems bound with bias tape (which I usually accomplish with a lot of pins and frustration because I don't have a special binding presser foot for it) and these clips made it a dream: slide the hem into the tape, clip. Slide, clip. When I finally brought the piece to the machine, it came out perfectly because the clips were holding it all in place so amazingly well.
As luck would have it, shortly after I received them I unexpectedly ended up doing an oilcloth project -- never worked with oilcloth before so I didn't know quite what to expect -- and I can honestly say I don't think I could have done the turned, rounded corners without these. No pinning, and firm grip on slippery stuff!
I liked them so much I came back and bought the larger pack, but I have to tell you that I noticed each time I looked at them, the Amazon price would change, and it did so daily on both sets. So I kept checking back for the best price, and I'm glad I did. In fact, I think I paid $9 something for the ten pack, but now as I write this review it's a little more than $6, so maybe I should have waited a little longer?
Ah well, still worth every penny I paid!!! I'll be using these for a long time to come!!!
Terrific clips for so many crafts. Perfect size and narrow enough to substitute for pins for most tasks. Really great for pressing hems before sewing - faster and easier than pinning.
Like the clips. Unhappy the packaging was bent and ripped and one of the clips was missing. Gas to return to the nearest place would cost me over twice what the item cost, so not returning.
In my video here, you can see that I missed a clip as I was serging. If this were a pin or a long clip, I might have damaged my knife or needle. These grab very strongly but also only need a tiny bit of fabric to be effective. That makes it possible to leave them in if you wish or at least find comfort that if you make a mistake there’s less chance of damage.
I was surprise by the quality of the product. They are sturdy, easy to handle and they stay put. I don't have to force pins trough heavy fabrics or get sting by the pins anymore. Plus, there are king of cute with their vibrant colours ! Have them for more than a year now and use them all the time. It makes sewing even more enjoyable. Worth the price.

These little clips are the perfect strength and size for my knitting projects. They hold the pieces together very tightly without pulling, tugging or splitting the yarn. Plus they are so cute! A great investment for all your crafts.
