    I saw this and decided to get it for a good friend who is a professional photographer. My only concern was that for all I knew he already had 20 of these. But when it came, I almost fell over - this mug has all the detail you could ask for and looks really convincing. When my friends and I presented him with it, he was absolutely delighted. He had seen a few advertised, but he didn't want to buy anything that had every potential to look cheap. His reaction was, "This looks really good!" We get to see him use this every day, so it's a pleasure to see he does enjoy it.
    This is a great gift I would recommend in a heartbeat to anyone who loves a camera.

    This makes a great gift for anyone who does photography... Or even enjoys taking pictures. It does look like a camera lense. It is plastic and the inside is plastic as well. I did have a problem making the lid stay on bc it would not catch to lock. Over all it made a nice gift

    I got this for a friend of mine who is really into photography as a Christmas present. He loves it. It looks realistic enough. So realistic that when I came, I looked in the box, saw the packaging, and thought, "I don't remember ordering a camera lens..."

    However, this cup is literally a plastic shell. No thermal insulation like a travel mug or anything. The lid actually can actually be attached to the mug, but it is a snap-on instead of a twist-on, so you might end up accidentally spilling your coffee if you're not careful. Also, the packaging (at least for me) was not a transparent plastic box as shown on the product page. it came instead in a cardboard box that was labeled with a bunch of faux camera lens specs, so that was a boon. My friend played around with it, and the rubber grip is actually not attached to the lens. You can shimmy it off, presumably for putting the mug in the dishwasher.

    Overall it's pretty nice, but I wish the construction was a bit more sturdy.

    It's what you would expect for the price. I love how the lid can hold cookies, and the detail isn't too bad. Wouldn't recommend for travel. More like at home or in the work space. The lid doesn't have a seal tight hold. Just helps keep the drink warm.

    I'd recommend for a great novelty gift that any photographer enthusiast will love.

    This lens cup looks cool, but the lens cap doesn't lock tight. The lens cup also feels like it might fall over because of the small base. I will probably use my KJB security camera lens cup to hold pens. The lid/lens cap is useless.

    I would recommend saving your money and looking for a better lens cup.

    This cup is an apt gift for anyone who has an interest in photography. I bought it for my father, who is an experienced and avid photographer, and it was very well received. He was impressed with the detail and likeness of the cup to the lens of which it is a replica. By pleasant coincidence, he happened to own the exact lens this cup is a mimic of.

    I can't speak to the effectiveness of this cup as a beverage holding device, because the one I purchased is being used to hold pencils and the like, but it certainly fulfills its role as a novelty very well.

I pushed it back down, but it stays for about an hour, each time I go to use the cup again it's unpeeled again. Couldn't find any way to contact Amazon about this item so this review will have to do. Spend a few more dollars and you could probably get a higher quality one.

    The mug did not come with any of the described traits-
    It was very small, the lining was terrible, there was no zoom as described, the lid does not twist on or open up- Just sits there- and was not a camera lens cap or had any attempt of looking like a camera lens cap as described. The detail was inaccurate. Would not recommend.

    Acheté pour mon épouse fan de photo, elle a mis quelques secondes a comprendre ce que c'était.

    J'avais mis à l'intérieur une petite pierre dans un kleenex afin de rendre le mug plus lourd pour mieux simuler un vrai objectif.

    Ce cadeau a fait le tour des convives qui ont trouvé l'idée très sympa.

    Elle l'utilise depuis plusieurs mois à son travail et la sérigraphie n'a pas bougé. Les parois du mug ne sont pas trop chaudes une fois plein.

    Il faut juste faire attention avec le couvercle car il n'est pas étanche une fois posé dessus. Par contre pour garder la chaleur, en sous tasse ou en coupelle à gâteaux c'est très bien.

    Je recommande chaudement.
