    The only issue that I've had with this, is the first time I used it I added a bit to much with some other "hot" spices not realizing how much heat this would add to my dish. A little hot the first time, but I love it now that I've gotten down how much to use and what not to add with it to a recipe also. It does bring a nice amount of heat to your dish and I definitely recommend this if you like it hot!

    I more often than not tend to go with McCormick or McCormick Culinary spices due to freshness and quality. This McCormick Culinary Smoked Paprika is no exception to that. This product has a really wonderful smoked paprika flavor. If a recipe calls for paprika, I'm going to use smoked paprika instead. I also love to use this in my homemade Ancho Lime Taco Seasoning mix, and it is amazing (recipe below). This package is a great value in the 17oz container size and had an expiration date of August 2025 when I purchased in November 2023. That's fresh enough for me!

    Ancho Lime Taco Seasoning Recipe:
    3 Tablespoons Ancho Chili Powder (Item B00LT0BY6O)
    1 Tablespoon Grelim brand Lime Powder (Item B0BY8ZNV4L)
    1½ Tablespoons Cumin (Item B001PQOAOA)
    1 Tablespoon Smoked Paprika (Item B005D8TYH4)
