Anthem Inc. provides a great mix of classic Naughty with new. It's good to a see a group twenty years on who are still able to produce quality music. Nice record to put in and let play.

I'm going to keep this 100 as possible. This is hip hop, this is rap music for the older gen. Its no where near a classic or great album but its holds it down. One big plus is no Vinnie on the mic, this is really a Treach solo save for the few guest spots. I like most of the production and some of the hooks are average or play 2nd string to the rest of the music. Treach is as close as he will get to his early days. He really sounds focused.

Another thing this is not really headphone music. This album is meant for systems and boom boxes. This album is in no way about to change the game but if you were even a semi fan of the grp you will dig it. I dislike only 1-2 trks on the album as of now. Only time will tell though but as of now its a 3.5- 3.75 or so album. Top 20 of 2011.

Classic hip hop album. After 20 years in the game naughty shows that they are legends, icons. Just don't like one song. The rest of the song are very good. Flags, I gotta lotta, perfect party, name game are super hot anthems. For people who knows the meaning of good hip hop music , it a cd that they must have in their collection.

Great album that shows Naughty by Nature's versatility with their music as well as MCing. There are 12 new songs along with remakes of 5 of their classics. If you are a hip hop fan, you will like this album.

Naughty where you been?

I was quick to pre order this as soon as i spotted the classic Naughty by Nature baseball bat symbol on the cover even though i knew nothing about it. I have all their previous work including their 1991 album that turned heads back in the day. The group as a whole has remains true to what people liked in the first place, Treach is an unreal mc and keeps the flow to what you'd expect. Not as many catchy hooks on this but still a great cd, they even redo a few old tracks at the end of the collectors edition. 4 Stars from me, I would love Treach to do his own thing and get some solo albums puming out but if this is his last effort id be content with that aswell, over 20 years in the game is a GREAT achievment!

Modern album with an old school feel

This is one fun-loving and easy going album...period. It is just a light listen with minimal deepness and an easy feel. The production is solid and complements the duo well; it supports their delivery and flow while not coming off dull. Naughty By Nature performs well, still retaining a somewhat old school flow, making this album a little bit more interesting. This is essentially a modern album with an old school feel. The majority is party-like or hard-hitting, sprinkled with a few deeper or women-oriented tracks. The 20th Anniversary Versions of their old school hits is a nice touch also. A nice and easy listen.
