Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

The assembly was easy and went smoothly. It is worth noting that things go better if you check resistances and capacitance with meters, owing to the almost illegible markings on the parts. In any case, no difficulties were encountered and when the meter was first turned on, it worked and calibration went well. So, it worked from the first contact to the end of the line.
Checked against another ESR meter (an analog from the Seventies), everything seems to perform similarly in identifying problem electrolytics and tantalums included.
All in all, a good experience and good outcome. I recommend this meter for any electronics person who needs to test electrolytics.
It works like they claim, but it's not built very strong for being built as a kit, i wish they spend $5.00 more on a better made PC board I'm sure if you made this all day, they would be fine, but if someone has limited experience building electronic kits I would have to say buy it built for you.
So yes get one, but beware of the thin lands, and if you don't know what a solder land is, then this kit may not be your thing
This is probably the least-expensive ESR meter out there, and it works as advertised. Kit was pretty straightforward to assemble, and alignment was very simple.
I was determined to fix my old tv. after learning about the Blue ESR kit, I decided to give it a try. After assembling the meter, it took about 15 minutes to find the problem with my TV. Just repaired a power supply on a desktop using the Blue ESR. It is a great tool!
I love the Blue ESR and it is now a permanent part of my test equipment. It's ability to measure resistance down to .01 ohms especially for capacitors and batteries.
The kit came complete, you only have to buy the battery. It doesn't include assembly instructions but inside the kit you will find a printed page with the link to download the assembly instructions.
Calibration of the kit is very easy, and you only need a multimeter and a soldering iron to assembly it.
I have assembled this during the Christmas break, The instructions were helpful and after rectifying two tranposed resistors I'd fitted it works just fine. Very pleased with it.
la mejor relacion precio / valor Justo lo que necesitaba, cumple con las expectativas Lo recomiendo ampliamente a todo aficionado o tecnico en electronica.
