I'm a fan of Joseph Joseph products, so this set is a must for me. The set looks exactly like pictured here, bright colors, sturdy high quality items with each easily snapping into place on top of the other like Legos.

Mixing bowls have non-slip bases and the whole set is dishwasher safe. As you can guess, storing is a dream. I saved so much cabinet space! However, I gotta warn ya that I'm a light cook, only cook twice a week. So, this set works for me. But if you cook regularly or every day, this preparation set might not last very long in your kitchen, especially the sieve (light blue) which is a little flimsy comparing to the traditional all-metal sieve's quality.

I don't see any down sides with the mixing bowls (light green and dark blue) and colander (dark green). They're plastic yet sturdy and do their jobs. Same goes for the measuring cups (yellow to dark purple) except that their handles feel a little flimsy when held.

I have come to love and rely on this brand of kitchenware, having yet to purchase anything Joseph Joseph that is not great!!!

This set consist of 9 staple kitchen items, as appose to alot of kitchen sets that come with a few key useful items and then throw in some extra dust gathering gadgets that only add to your already huge heap of unused kitchenware. A nice large mixing/serving bowl, a medium round colander, a tad smaller mesh strainer bowl, a small mixing bowl with a pour spout and a nice set of measuring cups. Every piece is durable, functional and made with the quality I have come to expect from this brand, and it all stacks together and only takes up the space of one mixing bowl. This set stacks very nicely, all the pieces fit perfectly and stays together even when moving it around. The measuring cups sort of snap together, so they would stay lock together even if you wanted to store them separately in a drawer or elsewhere.

This set would be nice enough and a great value with those features that I listed alone, but what makes it exceptional and one of the things I love about this brand is the little extra features that add to the functionality and ease of use. The handles of each piece double as the stacking point for this set and the handles are a perfect size, being large enough to get a good hold but not overly large to add a cumbersome side profile that takes up alot of extra space. The handles are also wider then typical and slightly angle down, very nice design. The measuring cups have wide squared open middle handles that are very nice as well. The bottom of the large mixing bowl also has a rubber bottom to keep it from slipping while in use.

Overall this a great set, very useful. I would definitely recommend. Would make a nice gift as well, as a matter of fact, a friend is in the process of purchasing a new home and plans to remodel the kitchen using bright colors like I have in mine. She has commented on some of my Joseph brand items, so this is what I am purchasing for her house warming gift, several of the Joseph items I have and love.

I had been eyeballing this set for some time. I finally ordered it and I'm so glad I did. It seemed a little pricey but when I received them I realized why, and I think they are worth it. The bowls are very substantial and thick enough to handle what ever you are mixing. (I had flimsy plastic bowls before and it does make a difference.) They stack perfectly and take up minimal room in my cabinet. I'm on a mission to declutter and minimize the junk in my life and this really works for me. This replaced a lot of other bowls and I don't miss them. There are other combinations, but I like the 9 piece set because it has a large and small bowl, colander, sieve and measuring cups. It's really everything I need, nesting in one place, easy to find (I haven't had to buy anything else). I recommend this for anyone trying to simplify their life!

These all stack and stay together beautifully. I love the little bowl for mixing up eggs and such for 2 on the Road.
The measuring spoons are accurate. The large bowl is awesome for tossing Salad, just after you've washed & drained it in the colander! The Sifting bowl put's out just the right amount of powdered sugar for my special Chocolate layer Cake, Yummy!
The only thing that could improve this set is a lid.
Love Them!!! These are the only bowls you need on the road RVer's!!!!!!

I'd been eyeing this set at the gift shop of my local museum but it was $65.00! The Amazon regular price was $50.00 but I happened to catch it half off. When I opened the package I was initially disappointed because I hadn't realized that there were only two actual nesting bowls: one large, one small. The other two are a colander and a mesh strainer/sifter. Let me tell you though, I use this all the time as an avid baker. The longish handles on the measuring cups make it easy to dig into a deep flour bag/Tupperware holder. The fact that there is a 1/3 cup is also a huge plus. I've used every piece of this set and an added bonus is the colors make me happy! This would work especially well if you lived in an apartment with limited space. In fact, it would be great for an RV too.

This nested set is great for anyone saving space. It's lightweight, with large handles on the pieces, so quite user-friendly in that sense, and the mixing bowls have silicone bottoms so that they grip the counter (the colander has small feet). The smaller mixing bowl with a pouring spout has metric units on one interior side, and imperial units on the other. The measuring spoons all click together, with a small tab on the handles to ensure that they fit together properly when you put them away.

The only drawbacks that I can see are that the pieces are not microwaveable, and you may miss having a mid-size mixing bowl (which is excluded from this set). I can't emphasize enough how convenient it is to save so much space with it though, though, so it's a five-star set to me.
