I enjoyed this more than Project Runway over the last twelve months of viewing. The contestant designers are all people whom we have met in prior seasons. They came very close to winning before. So now these almost winners of prior seasons are given a second chance. The designs are better than seen on the normal PJ because not only have these people made it through a prior season, they also have put all that they learned back then into further design out in the world. These are all interesting people too with not a dullard in the bunch.

Some of my favorites are: Mondo, the designer who lives with HIV and always comes up with fresh, creative stylings; Austin Scarlett, a full scale diva with a wonderfully romantic, elegant style; Michael, one of the most emotional and voluble contestants who stars at evening wear; Anthony, a diva from the South with an accent that is enchanting; etc., etc.,

I loved it and if you have been getting tired of the regular PJ, this is the perfect antidote.

This is the first season of Project Runway where "All Stars" (winners, and top designers of previous seasons) come back and compete again to be the winner of this new spin-off series.

I haven't watched all the seasons of the regular Project Runway, so I wasn't familiar with everyone, but for the most part knew of everyone's specialties and talents. You already know everyone is a talented designer, otherwise they wouldn't be on this season, so it was fun to watch the best of the best compete with each other.

It was great seeing people from the first season to the latest season come on here. We see what years of experience and already being on the show has done to them and how they've evolved as artists.

I took a star off because Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn don't host this series. Instead, you get supermodel host Angela Lindvall, with Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman as judges, and Joanna Coles of Marie Claire in the Tim Gunn mentor role. They all do their parts well, but you gotta love Heidi and Tim, and their catchphrases!

This was a great first season with the expected—and unexpected twists and challenges, but it was a little easy to spot who the winners and losers would be in each episode. Overall, it was great to watch Project Runway again. Recommended.

If you were not already sick of Mondo's ego and arrogance, this season will do it for you. Detracts from the rest of the program. He is so negative about all the other designers. Too much of the negativity and not enough about design.

This is a great purchase for any Project Runway fan. The designers they brought back are indeed very talented, though the males were certainly stronger. In particular, I was excited to see Mondo Guerra and Michael Costello brought back. Not only is it great to see their designs, but it's also awesome to see their bond with each other. Fans of the show will recall that Mondo, despite his negative preconceived notions about Michael, was really the first (and perhaps only) designer on Season 8 to really give Michael any credit for his talent, and they developed the utmost respect for each other. It's great to see their friendship and support of each other throughout this season. I am a big fan of both of their designs. I was also very excited to see Kenley brought back, because her girly designs are very appealing and flattering. And of course Anthony, whose personality is just constantly charismatic, witty, and hilarious.

The only reason I gave this season 4 stars is that it certainly would have been better with Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn. I think Georgina Chapman and Isaac Mizrahi do just fine as judges. However, Angela Lindvall (is that her name?) is absolutely ROBOTIC as a host. She sounds so rehearsed, and it seems as if she's desperately trying to project a perfect news anchor accent when she speaks. No personality whatsoever. The most notable absence, though, of course, is Tim Gunn's absence. The woman who takes his place lacks his warmth, his humor, and his ability to critique. It seems that she mostly just asks them what their design is and then wishes them luck.

Despite the absence of Tim and Heidi, the designers' talent is enough to make up for it, so the season is well worth the purchase.

On a random side note, I think the work room is absolutely beautiful in this edition, too!

I loved this season of Project Runway. There were a few favorites who I thought should have won there season it was nice to see them again. The right person (in my opinion) won. The only thing I didn't like is that there were at least three people I would never consider all stars.

This season has some of the best designers to grace Project Runway. It also pushes them to produce their best. It is more fun and less drama then the regular seasons as the designers know what to expect. But you do find yourself missing Tim Gunn and the regular judges.

I don't sew, but I adore this show!

I have watched every season of Project Runway, so it was really fun to see many of my favorite designers from previous seasons return to compete again. And I was really thrilled with the designer who won the whole thing, though I won't ruin it by posting it here.

This season offered lots of changes. The show was hosted by Angela Lindvall instead of Heidi Klum. Judged by Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman instead of Michael Kors and Nina Garcia. And the designers were mentored by Marie Claire editor-in-chief Joanna Coles instead of Tim Gunn. I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss the regulars, especially Tim Gunn, whom I absolutely adore, but this was still a great show.

It was entertaining to watch the designers compete with one another, mostly in a friendly manner. And the prize package was much bigger than every before.
