Customers like the flavor, quality, and nutrition of the sauce. They mention it has a very rich flavor, the right level of spice, and makes Thai food easy.
Love this curry paste. It's not cheap, but it's also incredibly good. It only takes a tablespoon of Thai and True to flavor a large dish of vegetables so the jar lasts over quite a few meals. Just an incredibly balanced and distinctive flavor.
This curry paste is amazing! If you have ever tried to find curry paste that is low in sodium, you know how hard it is. When I heard about Thai and True's low-sodium paste, I had to order it. And it is delicious, very rich flavor and very easy to use. I always thought it would be impossible to make curry at home and make it healthy, but with this sauce, it is a snap!
If you are under the impression, as I was, that this is a low sodium option IT IS NOT. I bought this specifically because it was supposed to have 5mg of sodium per tablespoon...not so the label clearly states 380mg per tablespoon. Save your money and just buy whatever the store has on the shelves and use in moderation.
I used 1 TBS and sautéed it with almond milk, yogurt and soy sauce. It's good but not as good as Thai Kitchen red curry paste that Amazon won' ship to California anymore. I assume it has some coloring that is toxic.
wish this didn't have rice bran oil in it. Rice bran oil is very high in omega 6 that we get far too much of anyway and causes inflammation. Also wish it didn't have lemon juice.
