This is a great bag that I plan to use when traveling. It has a zippered top which will keep my items secured. There is an inside zipper compartment and a separate slot for a tablet. The bottom is 2.75" wide and this is one of the reasons that I bought this. Want to be able to carry a bottle of water in it ,and sometimes a travel raincoat. Magnetic snap outside pocket on each side. Good for easy access to papers, tickets etc. Before you buy, make sure you appreciate the dimensions because this is a fairly large square bag. I have a slim Tumi bag (Smith cross body) which is what I use when carrying the minimum amount of stuff. It also has a slot for tablet.
The bag is the perfect fit. Have books and iPad in it with a couple of magazines. It is comfortable and looks fabulous. The leather is top quality and the strap is canvas. I have had other leather bags and the leather strap has left marks on my clothes so I tend to shy away from the leather straps. I would definitely recommend this bag.
And the bag showed up sooner than expected which is ALWAYS a plus in my book :)

As expected my latest Tumi purchase has exceeded my expectations. I have at least ten Tumi leather products some going back 15 years and they are still in beautiful condition. I fully expect this, my newest Tumi purchase, to also exceed my expectations. The size is just right for my iPad, wallet, camera, glass case and a few other items. Just big enough for basic carry on for a flight or day tour walking about. This would be too big for car shopping.
