This product is very hard to rate because it might be unfair to Sunbeam because the product that I received could have been a counterfeit. Sunbeam products usually come in a heavy plastic bag with a zipper on it. The product that I ordered came in a plain brown box and the Mattress Pad had been stuffed in a very thin cheap plastic bag that was halfway sealed with just one piece of tape and the bottom split open because the Mattress Pad was too big for the cheap plastic bag to contain it. Unless Sunbeam has really gone down hill - that doesn't make any sense. Also, the quality of the Mattress Pad was extremely low compared to the other Sunbeam mattress pads that I own. I have another Sunbeam heated mattress pad and it's great - can't feel the wires at all. While the package did contain controllers that said Sunbeam, my first impression of feeling the mattress pad was that the "Premium" version had to have been swapped for a cheap imitation of a Sunbeam product. I have less expensive Sunbeam mattress pads that are a lot softer than this one.
If you order one - beware - make sure that it comes in a Sunbeam original heavy duty package.
