BUYER BEWARE

The bottom is ultra flimsy, plastic is half as thin as the tube. Mine arrived damaged (see pictures).

Buy a second cap, place on bottom, fully functional. This can hold 1 more playmat than Ultra Pro Play Mat & Artwork Tube for two thirds the price.

I was pleasantly surprised with this product. It seems very strong and sturdy. I love the fact that now I have a convenient way of storing all of my playmats. I was a little surprised that some customers felt the mat did not fit well into this tube. I must disagree - It fits exceptionally well. After seeing how much I liked it I immediately ordered a few more. My only concern is why does the cost vary so much for different colored caps? Regardless, I can't say enough nice things about this product. It satisfies a need and will help me organize my game closet.

This playmat protector tube is a great way to keep your TCG playmat lasting longer, cleaner, and in like-new condition. It's sturdy plastic construction seems very durable and should serve its purpose for years to come. The tube is more triangular rather than being completely round, which comes in handy when you don't want your playmat tube rolling off of the table while packing up after a gaming session. It is large enough to hold your playmat comfortably but compact enough to put in a messenger bag or backpack without eating up needed space for your deck boxes and trade binder(s). Whether you're a serious TCG gamer or just someone who likes the occasional casual game, I cannot recommend this enough! Five Stars!

Worth it in every way

Before I purchased this tube I rolled and carried my playmat like a homeless Planeswalker. Now I tote my mat proudly and stylishly in this protective playmat tube. Juggling card supplies from my car to my friends' kitchen table and then having my mat unroll when I inevitably dropped it was always an annoyance. An annoyance, I'm glad to say, that has since been solved by this wonderful product. The triangular design keeps my mat from rolling away from me. I'll never have to deal with cumbersome playmats again now that I've purchased this tube. The price to quality ratio is great. If you're thinking about buying this product then stop thinking and buy this product.

Does not roll - does it's job

The shape of the case was the primary driver for purchase - it does not roll off flat surfaces and is a solid construction that does not flex or crack during normal use - I travel internationally with this plamat tube and have had no issue

Large enough to fit each of the playmats that I currently utilize

No issue with Cap retention - each time I pull this out of my tournament pack, the cap is intact and my playmat has been protected adequately

The Monster tube is the only brand that I can recommend

Got these to protect the playmats purchased as birthday presents for my daughter & son-in-law. The ones we got worked great for our Christmas playmats whether playing at home, FNM, or travelling as they are lightweight yet sturdy and haven't had any cracks or problems with lid coming off yet (they get banged around quite often too). For the price, its worth it to keep the playmats clean and protected from the weather and daily dust, etc. which the bands don't do and with them rolled instead of folded the playmats tend to hold up better.

these are great for some of my playmats i have some special ordered that are a lot thicker than most normal playmats so these tubes are not big enough in width even when i roll them as tight as they can but for standard store bought ultra pro playmats these are perfect if you want to keep them in good condition and not have a lot of wear and tear form being carried around a lot this is the way to go i have a pack i carry all my stuff around in and these tubes were pretty long so i shaved about and inch off the top and they still fit my mats just fine and now they will fit in my pack before they just stuck out the top but they are very durable tubes and will keep your mats safe for sure

Excellent for MTG platmats

I have had this product for a few weeks now and I have had no problems. It doesn't roll off the table and the cap stays on. It is clear so if yo have multiple play mats you can see which one to pick up and use. All in all this is a great product that has held up even with some minor abuse by me.
