I really like these on my Epi Les Paul. Could use more bottom in some songs I play but the mids and highs are very musical with overtones galore. They are pretty nice on my DeArmond M75T giving great steel guitar tones for bridge single coil PU.
I tried them on my Strat and hated the overall sound. Grating. However, when playing through a saturated gain effect the harmonics are insane. Absolute sonic magic. I went with Fender's Nickel Plated Steel in the same gauge. Just slightly less brilliance.

Yes I'd buy them again for the guitars that they shine on.

Strings are a great value and have good quality. While these will not last as long as the newer coated strings, they certainly work well for the money. As a bonus, having a couple extra E and B strings is awesome when you need to quickly fix a broken string without pulling one out of a new set.

These strings sound really good on my Gibson Les Paul Classic. After years of trying numerous other brands, I've settled on these for the Les Paul. They sound great, stay in tune well (once stretched), and last a long time. In this packaging, I really appreciate the two extra First and Second strings as it saves me from using a complete set just to replace a single broken string.

As soon as I opened the package I saw a stack of strings in their paper sleeves, NOT separately sealed sets of six strings.
So, they are not sealed sets, but rather all tossed in one sealed bag.
The next discovery was mottled spotted and pitted E-1, B-2 and G-3 strings on nearly every "set". I am not restringing my Gibson guitar with strings that are already visibly tarnished and perhaps have reduced tone and lifespan.
This is poor packaging and quality control, so they were returned.

I bought my first set of Gibson Brite Wires after I bought my Les Paul. Soon after that I started buying them in bulk and now all of my electric guitars are strung with them. They're almost "slippery" feeling when they're fresh. Once stretched out they hold their tuning beautifully. Can't say enough good things about them.

I was totally into the NYXL's and they are way cool, but these are totally prime. The 9's feel like 10's and sound like 11's. I just bought this second set of 10's because they will feel beefier and have immense tone. I'm only buying these from now on.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ottima scorta di corde per chitarra
Reviewed in Italy on June 4, 2018
    Consigliate.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really Good Strings
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on May 26, 2017
I've been a D'Addario player for years and I think they're great, but I have a few guitars to string, I play a lot and I'm quite heavy on them so change quite often and cost starts to ramp up at nearly £6 a set, so the price point and positive feedback tempted me towards these. I'm really impressed, really good strings with a couple of spare 10's and 13's thrown in, everybody's happy. If you don't go through too many strings, I would go for individually wrapped sets.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ottime corde!
Reviewed in Italy on August 7, 2017
