My husband is the hardest person to shop for... Mostly because he buys things for himself all the time instead of waiting for a gifting opportunity - 3x a year this is an issue. 5 if you count anniversaries! Any how, this little game in a tiny tin piqued my curiosity and so in my cart it went. We broke it open the day after Christmas and learned to play. We liked how easy it was to learn, the use of colors (red, yellow, green, and blue), shapes (plus, circle, square, triangle), and numbers (1,2,3,4), and the scoring which means that you need to employ some strategy when you're playing your turn. It's so small that we have to make sure not to lose it when traveling. You need a card table sized surface to play. We recommend it to all our friends!

I was looking for a game similar to set that wasn't a speed-based competitive game. This is perfect and it's so tiny I carried in my bag with me all the time! Wish that there were more games in this form factor, it's perfect!

If Quirkle and Set games had a baby, then it’s name is iota. Really fun game. Requires logical and strategic thinking. The scoring and the rules for rows have a little bit of a learning curve, but once you master, it’s easy to get in a grove.

I uploaded a photo of the game with a pen to illustrate the size. Very portable game because of its tiny size. Cards are vinyl-ish feeling. Not super thick but should stand up to older children.

I’m a teacher so I will be using this game Post-Covid when my kids can be close together and share materials. They will love this game. Until then, I’m playing with my teens and family.

Enjoy!

This game is kind of like Quirkle, but with more dimensions. It can take up a lot of space while playing but it is so tiny in the box! Perfect for traveling or just a quiet night in.

Me encantó.
