Product is well built, high quality for its price. I honestly thought I was shipped the wrong item but the customer service was unbelievable. So, on the splitter, you should see a separation in the pins, you can slide the +2 part of the pins upwards and away from itself to get the 6+2-pin. Thanks for an amazing product!!

Looks like a quality product. Wanted to use my 8 pin pcie from the power supply to convert to a 6 pin pcie to the graphics card. This product will do that. I learned something. I misidentified the 8 pin coming out of the power supply. It was actually an 8 pin EPS power cable. My mistake. My other 6 pin connector has pcie written on the connector. My power supply is 10 years old. Now I have a nice new modular power supply to go with my new graphics card.
