These are some really nice soft pastels. Really like their texture and ease of laying down on the paper, and the colors are pretty vivid. I will purchase again when I need to resupply - highly recommended. I am using these for finishing. And thanks for such a wonderful product!

Time consuming to remove labels

Firstly, I would like to say that these arrived in a very timely manner perfectly packaged. The box comes with 120 1/2 sticks most of which are fairly creamy, but a few colors are a bit chalky and hard. Two issues I found with this set. The first being the paper that comes with all the numbers for making samples is on a shiny paper. The pastels do not stick to shiny paper so I printed another off on my computer and used that, not a big deal. The problem with this set is the actual labels on the pastels. It took me an hour and 15 minutes and some damage to the pastels to remove all the labels. I actually googled how to get them off with no luck. I ended up using a very sharp small razor to cut the label and peel them off.
