    Second one was a charm! First one had sharp frets and paint blemishes.
    Amazon didnt double box the second one but it survived in the flimsy cardboard box.
    This is the best sounding, best playing and best constructed guitar in this price range.
    Even though the top is laminated, it has a great tone and volume.
    I fully recommend this guitar.

    1. This guitar plays well, but the bridge pins were drilled .035 inch off center. Laterally not on center.
    2. The Base string pins will not seat and the E string, since it is the larger string is popped up almost 1/8 inch The others are popped up depending on their string diameter
    I could drill or file a slot in the pin heads to prevent them from hitting the strings so they could seat, and I could sand 1/8 inch off one end of the bridge to move it over to the center of the strings, but for the price of the guitar, I'll try to live with it, not sure at this time.
    The guitar needs some attention from their engineering and manufacturing departments, if this is consistent with this model.
    I can send photo if necessary.

    This is a great guitar for the money. I really like the string spacing being a little wider than some of those thinner ones, yet not wide like the Seagull guitars. Well worth it in my opinion. Like buying any mass produced guitar, be sure to order new strings with it.
    Also, the one I got was made in Indonesia. Would rather that than one more thing made in China! :)

    This guitar is fantastic. I couldn’t find fault with it at all from a cosmetic or sound stand point. But here’s the problem: both Amazon and Jasmine websites state that the nut width is 44 mm or ~ 1.75”. This is not true. It is a standard 1 11/16” nut width. This is an important detail if you prefer a wider neck for fingerstyle guitar. Otherwise, go for it; you won’t be disappointed if you know the real specs going in. For most players, it may not matter but it does to me. It may be one of those “specs may change without notice” situations. Idk, but it’s being returned. Having said that, if you’re looking for an easy playing strummer, this one can’t be beat for the price.

    This guitar is so well built I was desperately looking for something....finally I saw what looked to be a small crack but realized the same mark was on the opposite side. Turns out only cool squiggle in the wood grain. Okay but the actions a little high even for an acoustic so I pulled the bridge out guess what it's real bone! Also it's expertly cut in a stagger and the nut is also bone and is cut exquisitely.( and I never say exquisitely). I've never heard of the wood that the neck and sides are made out of but it's really nice the wood grain is very fine. Even the tuners are halfway decent that is they keep it in tune. The neck is not too thin it's just right and the attention to detail I couldn't find a sag in the clear coat or anything! I usually buy Epiphone Ibanez Yamaha but I decided to get this Jasmine to try I'm so glad I did what a nice axe for hundred thirty-five bucks BUY IT
