My son loves anything alphabet related and we have a ton of apps on the subject, but this is by far his favorite app. He loves to sing the alphabet song As fast As he can. Speaking As a parent of a child in speech therapy, when you find something... anything... that encourages your child to speak and makes it fun... you jump at it. I've never heard him laugh so hard while playing an app before. It's music to my ears. There are a few phonics related songs as well as games that require you to pop the bubble of the letter of the sound the character makes. "What sound does fish start with?" I thought a few would be too tough for a 2 year old, but he is catching on fast. I would rank the app 2-4 year old category. If nothing else, the purchase is worth it for the alphabet song! It speeds up faster and faster, very fun.
Great for kids who know the letters and sounds each letter makes. This game will help them improve the skills and will require very little to no supervision from the parent's end.
My girls (3.5yo) are not there yet, so they need my help most of the time, but it is still a nice and fun way to teach them phonics and start on the reading adventure.
We are always looking for educational games for our 2 year old to entertain him on plane flights or in restaurants.
I tried this app and it seems nice and fun. Our son is not really interested in it though. Maybe he will like it more as he gets older, but it is a nicely designed app. It's also very educational to help kids learn the alphabet.
My son really likes to play the games and asks to play like every day. The only thing I don't like is that the games don't tie together. Like after he is done doing a game with Red it takes him back to the main screen then he has to pick a different person. I wish all the games just ran together going from one character to another till he has been through all the games.
This app provides a lot of different ways to help kids with their letters. Each character has a different game that focuses on writing, sounds, or reading. The games are short and easy to learn, so I can let my 4-year-old kids play this for just a few minutes or longer and not worry about them needing me for assistance. I got this on sale, so I didn't have to pay for it, but I definitely would consider paying for it. There are no in-app purchases to worry about and no ads.
My 2 year old loves this game -- he loves the show, too! My only complaint is in the spelling game-- some of the sounds are hard to distinguish and I wish that if he clicked on the incorrect letter it would tell him what sound that letter made instead of just telling him it was wrong. The activities are really cute and he loves watching the videos!
the songs are kind of catchy, and the games are fun. Not quite as many games or levels as I was hoping for. An enjoyable game, but very short. and the phonics sounds are a little difficult to understand. There are a few, that I didn't even know what letter they were asking for. All in all a cute game. Just a little short.
This is a great app for my toddler! I wish there were ways to tell the app which learning level your child was on and opened up more options as they progressed. But it really is a great app for my son to practice his letters on, even if he isn't ready for all of it!
My toddler loves Super Why. As a mom, I think it's one of the best educational programmes on tv and the app is a plus. I would most definitely recommend all parents to purchase for their little ones. They'll learn so much from it
I have to say this is a great app. Both of my kids love it aged 3 and 5. My daughter aged 3 especially is a fan. Plays with it so much that the songs are now stuck in my head.
