Enjoy Life Chocolate Chip Cookies Makes About 3 Dozen Cookies • Vegan & Gluten-Free! •2/3 cup Shortening (Palm or Jungle) •1 tbsp. Grapeseed or Safflower Oil •1 cup Packed Brown Sugar •1/2 cup Granulated Sugar •1 tbsp. Vanilla Extract •1/3 cup Water •2-1/4 cups Gluten-Free Baking Mix •1 tsp. Salt •1 tsp. Xanthan Gum •1-1/2 tsps. Baking Soda •1/2 tsp. Gluten-Free Baking Powder •1-10 oz of Bag Enjoy Life Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Chips 1.Preheat oven to 375º. 2.Cream shortening, oil and sugar in a mixing bowl. 3.Add vanilla and water. Mix until just combined. 4.Combine gluten-free baking mix, salt, xanthan gum, baking soda and baking powder. 5.Add to creamed mixture and beat until smooth. 6.Add in mini chips. Allow to sit for at least 10 minutes. 7.Drop by spoonfuls onto parchment-lined baking sheet and slightly press down on each cookie to flatten. 8.Bake for 8-10 minutes. Cool on baking sheet for 15-20 minutes and serve.

I got theses because there vegan and thought they be very good. Theses are very good the cookies came out very good, I really enjoy the taste if thoses chocolate chips. The nice thing about it is there vegan and you can make all sorts of dessert or use them in other food.

Great to see these are available here as I previously bought them in store at WFM. There are very versatile: perfect for baking - chocolate chip cookies, an additional flavor to cakes and absolutely wonderful for pain au chocolat. The chips are only slightly melted in baked item, but it has soothing melt when item is eaten. These chips melt well if needed as a ganache and I dared to us3ed them as a glaze for donuts - just so perfectly delicious! These chocolate chips are truly just slightly sweet, so they are perfect if you are being careful with your sugar level. In fact, I reduce on my sweetener when I use the chocolate chips and the overall taste and texture of my baked good remains uncompromised - everything is 'finger-;icking yummylicious'!
I also add the chips to my favorite coffee bean ice cream from Trader Joes, and periodically drop some into a cup of chocolate drink for my daughter. We occasionally use the chocolate chips to design the unsweetened cooked breakfast cereal - rarely though.

Really flavorful chocolate chips.. I highly recommend them..What a way to 'Enjoy Life"!

I was elated to finally have found a choc chip that suits all of my family's dietary concerns. I did order this product during the month of July - so when i received the package it appeared as though the chips melted a bit and formed large chunks in the bag. I worked around it by chopping the chunks, but it did change the look of the baked goods (when expecting a mini choc chip). Taste is great! and I will definitely order again.

These chocolate chips are seriously the best dairy free chips I have ever used. They have real cocoa butter in them and literally only 2 other ingredients.

These melt just as easily as regular chocolate chips. I have used them to create chocolate ganache, chocolate glaze for donuts, and chocolate covered strawberries, as well as adding them into my banana bread and chocolate chip muffins and pancakes. They taste great and the texture is great as well.

For the most part, Enjoy Life brand does a great job of creating products free of dairy and gluten. This is definitely a great one. I wish they made a sugar free variety with stevia or monkfruit for me to use when I'm avoiding sugar. Aside from that, I honestly can't complain.

There are so many vegan chocolate makers out there, using all kinds of fancy recipes and incredients, but ultimately producing mediocre results. Then there's this company, making chocolate chips with the simplest possible ingredients, accomplishing mouth-watering chocolate that harkens back to my pre-vegan days. It's so delicious I sometimes find myself eating these straight out of the bag. Not in an, "I've convinced myself this is as good as the chocolate I used to have" way. In an, "Omg, my taste buds are having a party" way. Seriously, if it's this easy, why don't all vegan chocolate makers do it this way?

I put these in my pancakes, brownies, oatmeal, on my bagels, you name it. They melt beautifully. You would never guess they were vegan.

Great dairy free semi-chocolate chips. Melted with ease, added peppermint oil, and topped with crushed candy canes. Put in the freezer for 30 minutes and whaalaa. Vegan peppermint bark. My niece is vegan and she loved it for Christmas. The whole family loved it and would never have guessed with the smoothness that the chocolate was dairy free. If anyone wants to make it, you need 16 ounces of semi-sweet chips, 2 teaspoons of peppermint oil, and a box of candy canes. Melt the chips, add the peppermint oil, pour in a 9 x 13 pan. Crush the candy canes and sprinkle generously. Put in freezer for 30 minutes. Absolutely delish!
