This doll's elaborate gown, which girls will recognize from the film, features a rich, multi-colored bodice decorated with swirls, sparkles and flowers. The bright blue skirt is accented with designs inspired by traditional Norwegian rosemaling.

I love that both the Anna and Elsa sparkle dolls have the painted on leotard. I have a 3 yr old and 4 yr old niece who enjoy stripping all of there dolls down to nothing. These dolls however make that impossible and I love that! Elsa and Anna always have some dignity by never having to be naked. Its also helpful if like in our case we frequently loose pieces of their ensemble I never had to see Anna naked and I'm happy about it. Also since other pieces of the clothing come off the nieces don't seem to care that her top doesn't. Other that that lovely feature that some will not like this is a great quality doll with tons of hair that the nieces already took out of the what they called dorky braids. Her head is on well, arms are on well, legs stay on. I don't have to worry about hands popping off like with other dolls on the market and I love that. It gets tiresome putting back on the equestria, monster high, and ever after high pieces of there body like there hands or arms that frequently pop off.

Very cute, simple doll. Her arms move at the shoulders and her legs move at the hips, but no further articulation, which can be a good thing for younger girls. Her bodice is molded/painted on, but the skirt and cape are removable. and she could be redressed with some fashions, just depending on how they are made. Her boots are adorable! The faces on these dolls, for me, isn't as good as it could be, but most of my family disagrees, lol. For the price she is a great doll for my 4 year old Frozen fan.

It's so hard to find Frozen merchandise that isn't a knock-off or that isn't marked up 3 or 4 x the original price!

Moms and dads - here's what you need to do to avoid those fakes and make sure you pay the suggested retail price: go to Amazon, and type in "Frozen Anna Amazon.com" and this will ensure that your results are from Amazon.com, and not a third-party seller. Amazon.com sells all the products at the manufacturer's suggested retail price (or lower), and they are genuine. It took me several tries (over different days) before Amazon.com finally had some of these dolls in stock. They were gone pretty quickly, and after they were sold out, all that was left were the dolls from the third-party sellers. Have patience - you never know when Amazon will get a shipment from the manufacturer.

Based on reviews, it seems there's a substantial risk that the third-party sellers are either offering cheap knock-offs or they are the price gouging people who snap up all the Frozen merchandise at the toy store (or on Amazon) and then turn around and re-sell them on Amazon for crazy prices. Let's all boycott these meanies!

When I finally got this doll (genuine, from Mattel) at the normal price, I felt like I won the lottery. Anna's dress does not have sleeves or bodice (instead they are painted on her arms and upper body) but she is beautiful for the price. Her face is beautifully painted and her hair and clothes were immaculate. Overall, I am so happy I was able to give this to my three-year-old daughter without having spent a fortune.

Ok, guys, when you buy a cheaper doll, you get a cheaper doll. Yes, on this one the bodice of her dress isn't removable. My kid always immediately removes the doll's clothes and they get lost, so this isn't such a big deal for me. If your daughter is into constantly dressing her dolls and changing their outfits, maybe spring for the more expensive doll. Overall this Anna is really cute and well made (though the clothes are a little cheaper).

After looking at reviews of all the dolls and the pricing options, I decided to go for these barbie style dolls. They seem really well made to me with clothes that are easy to take on and off and the hair on each doll has held up well the the abuse of my four year old. I know some people are really upset about the fact that part of the "clothing" is actually painted onto the doll but that doesn't really bother me - when the dress and cape are removed, a sort of painted on bathing suit is revealed - no big deal in my opinion.

While the face varies a little from the movie Anna - she is still sweet and has that 'kooky' attitude! I initially thought that it was a shame that all her clothes weren't removable, but this hasn't phased my daughter one bit. I bought this doll instead of the Disney one as the legs are not articulated at the knees, once again as an adult I thought that this would assist with play, but my 5 year old finds it tricky to position her Disney and Barbie dolls that have so much articulation. The boots are easy to get off and on and I love how much hair Mattel have given this doll compared to the Disney Anna, NO bald spots! If the bodice being painted on isn't an issue, there are definite wins with the quality of the hair and boots!

I ordered this Anna doll for my daughter for her birthday. While she was very excited to have an Anna doll (finally), the first thing out of her mouth was "that doesn't really look like Anna". The arms and shirt part of her are painted on - which is actually fine with me, something less to worry about tearing up. The skirt was very cheap quality and tore within a couple weeks. The clasp on the cape is not true velcro and is just supposed to stick to the cape itself - which it only does half the time. In general my daughter has been happy having this doll, but she really wants another one that is better.
