James, Sean and Kate are three regular everyday working Joes, who happen to moonlight as the crime fighting superhero "Adventure Patrol." But when they discover zombies are behind the string of unexplained deaths, have they've bitten off more than they can chew? The humor is sharp and the dance moves bad-ass in this short zombie comedy with a beat. The film is written and produced by Ed Fletcher and is directed by AK Long.

It's fun and funny - there're zombies and superheroes - it's rapid-fire and rewarding (you're gonna love the ending). If you're a bus/train commuter, go'n grab this for your morning ride so you're ready to take on the corporate zombification of your day. Or watch it before you head into the streets for the weekend - to battle the zombification of bar-hopping nightlife. Some way or another - you definitely have 16 minutes to spend with this sweet little flick, and I bet you find you have half-an-hour to watch it twice. Hollywood would call it "a delightful romp," or something corny like that. Good thing I ain't Hollywood.
Superheroes and zombies collide in this fun short film made in Sacramento. The locations used add the right effect to the scene: The Pre-Flight Lounge, The Old Sugar Mill, some dude's house. The witty banter and ridiculous costumes add to the campy merriment, but the zombies makeup looks pretty damn good for a low-budget indie short. The real prize here is the choreography that goes into the finale. I won't spoil it for you; watch for yourself!
I love independent zombie movies. I'm going to judge this based on the budget they had to work with.
The Good Camerawork: Whoever was filming this did a good job. Choreography (zombie dance): was pretty good Make up: Descent considering the budget.
The Bad Acting: I would say one of the three main cast members were believable in their roles. Directing: Everything was clearly shot in one take, so when an actor mumbles, or messes up a line it's left in. Plot: Not original, even considering that this is a zombie movie.
