It was ok, too many options to use, bought it for home office. But however you can just use it like regular phone. I mostly have it forwarded to my cellphone when I’m out. So it’s a good phone system. Cordless always makes your life easy. Recharging, answering machine is good.

I live way out in the sticks. Cell phone service is ok in some spots. But if you move around or are not in the right spot, No service! I live in a trailer house and have a shop appx 200 ft behind my house. The shop is a metal building and cell phone service inside the shop was none at all. Since all I have is cell phone service here and satellite internet, I considered an internet phone service as well as cell phone range extenders. Then I found this product. It simply works Great! I have a Pantech 2050 cell phone and it paired up instantly. I found a place on the wall of my trailer where I got the best signal (3 bars) and using an old car cell phone holder I mounted it to the wall there. After I paired it the first time that was it. I take my cell phone with me when I go somewhere then put it back in its holder when I return home. It's got a blue light on the base to show its connected to the cell phone. As soon as I walk in the door, its already connected! You dont have to do anything, its paired and ready to go as soon as you get within range. I'm really not sure what the range is but I did my my cell phone in the truck appx 40 ft from the trailer and it connected. The connection wasn't great at that distance but it did connect. Setting up the phones were easy too. Within 10 minutes, I had them set up with the time/date, ringer type and volume set. Now I can walk around through the house with the handset and hear my calls perfectly. As for the shop phone, I did have to move the base . For some reason my computer monitor has a hum in it and with the monitor between the base and the shop, reception on the shop phone wasn't so great. I simply moved the base to the other side of the monitor and that solved the problem. Now I have excellent phone service in my shop. This product completely solved my problem. Now, with just cell phone service, I have 2 phones that work as well as a land line. The Push To Talk feature is cool too. It works great for communicating between the shop and the house. ie "Baby, put another pot of coffee on" or just a simple " I love You". This truly is well worth your money.

This is my first connect to cell phone, I have 2 cell phone in house and no land line. Now my wife doesn't need to run and look through purses to find cellphone when its ringing. :)

Hardware Features:

-> Product is well designed and well build.
-> Keys are soft and illuminate when pressed, which makes it easy to use it in dark.
-> Ringer is louder and should not be issue with big house.
-> Speaker phone on handset works as expected.
-> Range is good, but not great. Sometimes I hear cracking static noise during the conversation if I walk away from base and/or cell phone. ( 1 star cut is because of this)
-> Battery last ok, haven't done real test but can go without charge for few days with moderate usage.
-> Dedicated button for Push to Talk on handsets, handy and useful.

Software features:
-> Directory sync works great, but search option works by selecting phone directory. All entries are separated by cell phone and you need to select one before you search and dial. Search is kind of hidden feature, once you are directory listing you need to start typing using t9 keys to start search and once 3 characters are typed it starts search. Kind of limiting search features I would like to search on more characters to directly go to precise entry.
-> VM and Answering : Haven't used answering and VM yet, (guess how prompt I am on attending calls)
-> Cell phone connects automatically when within a range, it's plus but can be issue for some e.g. If I cam close enough to house but still not in house it rings on land line and when you pick up from cell it by default used landline for audio instead of cell phone (this may be iphone issue). but not a big deal for me, it works as expected.
-> No direct intercom button on handset, its inside menus.

While I've had issues w/my SPECTRUM LANDLINE NOT WORKING for the first 2yrs I paid for the darn thing, I've NEVER had issues w/the phones which is GREATLY APPRECIATED after the Spectrum nightmare! PS the Bluetooth feature is AMAZING if you're like me & loath talking on your cell phone bc of how hot the not on screen gets against your face AND OR having to clean off the screen after it's been pressed against your inevitably sweaty face🤦‍♀️

WARNING: The handsets DO NOT HAVE AN AUDIO JACK. Thus you cannot use a normal headset with an audio jack to take conference calls using this phone. This is unlike any other cordless phones we've had in the past, so I was quite surprised to find out the slimline handsets won't work with my nice headset.

Strongly considering returning the unit, since buying the extra Bluetooth headset is not an option here.

- Handsets are very slim and feel solid. Overall fit and finish is good on all parts.
- Default ringer is very loud and sounds like an office phone.
- Handset chargers do not have screw holes for wall mounting (as others have noted).
- Screens (handsets and base) all say "New voicemail" even though there aren't any voicemails, which is very confusing. (A separate light illuminates if you *actually* have a voicemail on the base unit).
