My fault for not paying attention to the fact that this was ONLY 1oz but I thought for $8 it would be the correct item. The photo shows my large one (what I expected) and the small one (what I actually received). That small tube is NOT worth $8. What a rip off.

    This product keeps the O rings from drying out so that they are easy to place properly and do not stretch. Until we bought this lubricant changing the filters on the whole house water filter was an extremely annoying chore.

    While reading these reviews I learned that this product for handy for all sorts of things.

    Bought this because our Kitchen Slicer started to squeal really. We needed something that was food grade and safe for use with kitchen products. After a little research this was what everyone recommended. It was a instant fix and noise was gone immediately. You don't need much a very little bit goes a long way. Excellent Product.     This is a great way to keep RBA caps from binding on o-rings. It has the consistency of Vaseline, but has absolutely zero smell. Unlike using VG as a lube for o-rings, this stays on the o-ring far longer, and also doesn't cause any mess as VG will if you apply too much.

    For best results apply it with a flat toothpick (or something of similar shape). Just a little goes a long way, so a 1 oz tube will probably last for years if it's only used for vape gear.

    I got it mainly for a 30mm tobh atty since the dual o-rings on the body were so tight as to make it impossible to adjust airflow. Using VG helped a bit, but it didn't last very long. A dab of this lube makes it easy to turn the body to adjust airflow but still maintains an excellent seal. I've since started using it on all my attys that have too-tight o-rings.

    I use this lubricant on various seals and O rings on my kegerator and have yet to taste anything peculiar other than the beer that flows thru the tap. Another application was on a home dehumidifier that I purchased last year. That unit had an internal pump that would, once the tank was full, activate and direct the water to a drain. Often times, a small puddle would appear at the base of the unit. I applied some lubricant to the O rings in the dehumidifier and since then have seen no water at the base of the unit. I'm very happy about that!

    I uncharacteristically ordered this in a hurry for an elderly family member after reading the title and the reviews mentioning using this on whole house water filters, so I'll own the mistake.

    While this can be used on water filters, it is not the 100% silicone lubricant that most water filter manufacturers suggest be used. Since it isn't designed for whole house water filters it will likely not work as well as something like "Molykote 111" that is primarily designed for water filters etc.

    Perhaps the seller could change the title to "Food grade Draft Beer O-ring Lubricant", but again I own the fact I didn't read the product description and I wasn't aware there were multiple types of food grade o-ring lubricant.

    One thing I did find odd for a food grade product is that it had no kind of seal on it, like a foil seal under the lid or a plastic wrapper around the tube. Due to that it wasn't eligible for a return.

    The Phillips Saeco lube for the super automatic coffee machines is $$ for almost no product. This tube will last me a long time, is food grade safe, holding up and doing it's job in my Philips 3200 series machine. The larger tube opening doesn't allow me to apply directly from the tube. I am applying it to the needed areas with a toothpick without any issue. I would buy it again.
