I've had these fora couple of months. I could honestly say that they are great I purchased two and both are still going strong. I do however follow their directions and disconnect them when not in use. I had previously had sharper image and they fried out on me I'm guessing it's because they were always connected. So disconnect them when not in use and they will last.

Are you competing often with your wife and kids for the charger and think that your computer's usb charging rate is not fast enough?

Ok, this is the solution. Just plug it to the wall and your charger station for phones, tablets, cameras, etc. is ready.

It is also is great for travels because its automatic voltage adjustment capability, allows you to connect it in any country, not mentioning that having to carry just one charger is a blessing.

I love having this charging station on my night stand. I can plug in several of my USB devices at once. I can't say I've ever used all 5 ports at once, but I've used four of them on several occasions with no issue. When I have parties at my house. I bring this unit downstairs and guests love being able to plug in their phones for a quick charge while visiting.

As for the box itself, it's well built and comes with a wall adapter. Each USB port is named with a device name (iPad, iPhone, Android etc.). This is done to denote that the maximum output for each port varies. Devices with more draw like an iPad, work best in certain ports and lower draw devices such as smaller phones work best in others. For future versions, I would recommend that the manufacturer does not label these based on product brands/names, but rather on maximum current output in amps. All ports I've used work for all devices I've plugged into them, some may just result in slower charge times. This may confuse users who do not realize this.

Works well but low watts means it can't handle as many devices as I would really like it to do.

So I have decided to update this review because the seller keeps sending me the same email over and over again, to I assume get me to either "correct" my review or to buy a new product. So now this a One star review instead of Three.

The product works fine still and will charge up to 5 devices as long as the total amps needed does not exceed 6 amps. The problem is I have several devices that NEED to charge at 2.1amps for them to actually charge and a few devices that can be charged at 2.1 amps but will still charge at 1 or 1.2 amps. This means that most of the time I end up only being able to use this charger to charge 2 or 3 devices at a time instead of 5. This was the reason for the 3 star review because I did not know exactly how Watts and Amps worked until after I had this charger. I just figured that a 5 port charger would always be able to charge 5 devices at a time but that ended up not being the case.

I'm very pleased with this purchase. It works flawlessly to me. I've only had it for over a month now, I think. I will update IF it does stop working after a year (as some others have stated).

Other reviewers were right about the limits of this device. If you use all USB sockets at the same time, do expect slower charging of your devices. If this doesn't bother you, by all means, it's a must have.

When I have my Nexus 7 tablet charging, it charges up pretty fast. However, when I charge up my 4 smartphones alongside the tablet, the Nexus 7 doesn't seem to charge up. BUT! The battery power seems to stay on the same percentage, meaning that the battery power is neither decreasing or increasing. All 4 LG Motion 4G phones charge up at a nice pace at the same time (like 2 or 3 hours to charge up from 15% to 100%). Pretty nifty considering that my devices are always stationary anyway.

Great item works well. I have it on my desk at work inside a charging station I purchased years ago - it fits perfectly and out of site. I use it for charging my Apple & Samsung Galaxy devices. One note of advice, the charging duration will only be as good as the cables you're using to connect the device(s). So use your original cables and if you need more, buy good quality replacements!

I have had this for 3 month now and have been charging iPads, iPhones, Android tablets and USB battery packs with it. I haven't taken exact time tests so I can't comment on that too much, other than it does seem to give a quicker charge to my iPhone when connected to the 2A output. It is great having a one stop shop for all the charging cables with NO wall warts. Recommended. If the unit continues to perform reliably in the coming months I will upgrade this to 5 stars.

This is a great adapter to have. It conveniently is able to charge my family's gadgets - an android phone, a windows phone, bluetooth headphones, nook, and 2 ipads and has enough slots to keep each type of cord plugged in without swapping (original apple, lightning, and multiple micro USB). I also like how the ports are labelled so that I know which of the ports output the right power for charging so we don't accidentally trickle charge the tablets. Couldn't be happier with it, and I look forward to taking it traveling as well so my wife and I are not fighting over wall warts.
