Editorial Reviews

"Coke Air is a thrilling read, and author Rossignol knows how to keep the pages flying with action as straight as an arrow in a film-script quality style." -- Robert W. Walker, author of Titanic 2012 and Bismarck 2013

From the Inside Flap

     T. J. slammed thephone down and rushed over to the crusty old editor's office.  Through his large glass wall, he could seeJack Mills barking at the young photographer as he turned the corner.  Soon his cusswords caught up with his lips.
"What the hell doyou mean you let that guy keep you from getting in?  That's public property.   The bastards can't keep you out.  Now get your ass back down there and don'tcome back here until you've got the photo of those jackasses.  And don't be more than an hour.  We're at deadline; at least some peoplearound here think it's important any more. Now, get the hell out of here."
"Jack, aboutthose two sets of old bones?"
     "What aboutthem?"
     "They ain't old."
"They ain't old, they're from this century, right here and now."
"Damn, not twomore.  They are starting to pile uparound here.  That's fifteen this year inCharles, eight in St. Mary's and nine in sleepy old Calvert County," saidMills, reading from a blackboard on his office wall.  Next to the list of homicides was a list ofdrive-by shootings, armed robberies and the now faded fad of carjackings.
     "You got a handleon it?"
"No, notyet.  I just got off the phone withSheriff Buttrick; he just got the word from Dr. Mallory ten minutes ago.  He's really pissed.  He ran a get-tough on crime election campaignand these jerks have been dropping like flies in his first year in office.  He knows it isn't his fault, but he's got todo something about it anyway.  If hecan't stop them from killing, he says the least he can do is find out who didand lock them up."
"Will you have a decent copy ready by deadline?"
"Yeah, Jack, justgive me about twenty minutes, but first I've got to call Christy, she's waitingfor me to pick her up for cousin's wedding at Glen Hills Country Club.  We have to be there by seven.  Shit, it'll be tough to make it.  If I don't, she'll have her Mafioso familybump me off.  It's a hell of a thing tohave married into the police and the mob with one "I do".
Christy LeeVennetti was no slouch at improvising.  She had all of T.J.'s clothes wrapped into abag and was coming into his office as he finished the story on the two stiffsfound at St. Mary's City.
"Two Found AtChancellors Point Dig Were Murdered"
     T. J. showed thestory to his wife.
     "Damn, not more?"
'Yep, this is allI have now, but I've got to get back on it in the morning."
"Are you sure,I'll understand if you have to keep on it T. J., my family will think you'reout with another woman, but I know better."
"Christy, nothingcould keep me from the food at the club, or your dad's cake or spending theevening on the arm of the most sexy and charming lady in Maryland".

Ken Rossignol – NEW: Kindle Vella stories are now available on Kindle APP for Android and Fire devices!

This saga is the voice of the victims. The story of the social justice warriors, innocence project champions, and the misunderstood criminals who were products of their environment is well told and documented. There are few chances, perhaps none, for the victims of murders to speak. Victim statements read by families at the sentencing of killers are ignored by the media and often by judges. These true crime stories are told from the victims' point of view, fictionalized, yes, but real.

In recent years Rossignol has appeared on dozens of ships in the Pacific, Atlantic, Mediterranean, and the Caribbean discussing the stories of the history of the Panama Canal, the heroes of the Titanic, the explorations of the new world voyagers, the Bermuda Triangle and the history of piracy, among other maritime history topics.
