Decent lil speakers for the price.

So far so good. Have them running on a Power Acoustik 4x75watt amp and they are performing great so far. The main reason for the 4 star overall is the issue I had with the true specs for these speakers. The box and booklet that came with them have different specs than what is stated on the item description and different than what is stated on the Maxxsonics (Crunch) website. Overall these are a great value for the money and a MAJOR improvement over my factory Ford Fusion door speakers.

I figured on a whim that I'd try these to replace the factory 20 year-old, paper cone speakers with whizzers. I took them back out and put the brittle tired factory speakers back in because they sounded about 50% better than these. It would not be a huge stretch to say I get better range and fidelity from the pinhole speaker on my iPhone. Avoid.

These failed after two seasons in a Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep only comes out in the summer, and the stereo is only used in slower city driving, so the actual play time was very limited and not high volume. It's possible that grit got into the voice coils since Jeeps make rusty dust as they slowly disintegrate and there was some stuck to the magnets. Anyway, I would not recommend these for for harsh environments.

Surprisingly for the price they are as good as my JL Audio C2-350 were and can handle more power. The JLs blew out after one and a half years. Lets see how these hold up. For now at a fraction of the cost they are a bargain.

They move air and were cheap but lack the high high's. Installed in 2004 Sunfire. I had to cut slots wear the holes were to mount in stock plastic mounts. If not you have to buy new mount for 4x6 speakers but I was on a cheap upgrade; work only car (30mpg). Easy to cut slots and do it yourself.

Pros: wow, for the price these are great! The sound is very good, no rattle, no scraping or breaking etc. The bass sounds good, mids and highs as well. Really impressed.

Cons: one of the connectors broke right off with 0 force but the seller shipped me a new pair free of charge which was much appreciated :)

Sound awesome for the money.. i have a hifonics 4 channel and barely have it turned up and they sound very clear and loud. Definitely worth 20 bucks... I have had many types of speakers and the sound difference between these and a $50 set will be barely noticeable at all. For my second car these work and sound just fine.
