Same make as original latch on my 1992 F250. Easy install, fit perfect. I was hoping however that it was something more than a bent plastic hinge, as it was hard to identify by picture. There are other options out there that are half the price of this one, with crappy reviews. Will it hold up? We will see. I did however add a strip of gorilla tape behind bending plastic hinge as I hope this may help it not break again. At least my window locks again for now.

First, this thing has screw holes. As if you can drill holes in tempered glass. (Note, the glass will shatter, so if you try it, you are an idiot.)
Second, you could epoxy it on . . . but it is a royal PITA! Does not stick worth a tinker's you-know what. Try mirror mount glue. Then when the plastic latch breaks, you have hell to pay trying to remove the latch.
Don't waste your time. Go for the OEM latch.

This window lock works as intended. Yes it is plastic (just like the original) and will probably break down the road (just like the original) but it is locking for now. I would like to see a company make a metal one but I guess the market isn't out there. I'm sure new trucks have some sort of fancy lock that I have never even heard of.
This is very easy to install, not sure why some of the reviews are saying to try to drill through the glass??? You do have to use your original screws. Mine were missing but I easily went to the junk yard and pulled out 4 screws. Just screw this into the existing holes in the frame of your rear slider window.

It installed very easy, just wish that it could be made with a different type of material that way it would not break so easy (Its made out of plastic and the latch part breaks off over a short period of time).
The others that I have had (from other vendors) has broken off over a short period of time Other than that it works good.

False advertisement - does not fit all ford trucks 67-99 - Will make you pay return shipping

Purchased this latch because it stated that it would fit all ford trucks 67-99. Part did not fit my 1987 f150 at all, not even close. I requested a return and refund for their improperly described part and they require I pay return shipping to get my money back.
No it's not a lot of money but it's the principle. I paid shipping to receive a part they mislabeled online, false advertisement, and then they force me to pay return shipping on top. Buyer beware!!!!

Easy replacement. Make sure windows glide and that the fit up is perfect before installing. May need to file the edge of the clip so it’s not so tight.

This is the only aftermarket replacement latch that hasn't instantaneously failed. I'm 6 months in and use it multiple times a day - ZERO issues. Heck, I drive a big, lifted, last of the great all steel Fords, and I shouldn't have to treat any part like a delicate flower. So, on that note - This is the right latch to get!

It screwed on easily enough. It will prolly take some breaking in before it can be buckled without substantial effort. I wish I vould buy this thing in metal!
