Now, I realize there are some serious flaws with the game, particularly with this port. First, it must be installed onto the HDD, and NOWHERE did EA make this clear. Consequently, a number of people have been completely screwed over. My opinion was that this was an entirely deliberate act of manipulation by EA to sell more copies of the game.
Additionally, the graphics look awful on Xbox 360. Not only are characters' hair oddly shiny, the graphics look worse than ME2 and sometimes even DA2. I would expect them to be as good as the 360 can handle, but other games, like Skyrim, are much prettier. Moreover, the graphics are buggy (at least on my copy). Characters oftentimes flash, and it takes the console a few seconds to load the graphics when entering new areas, so everything looks bland for a moment.
Why, then, am I giving it five stars? A few reasons. I had room on a 320gb harddrive, so that did not cause me any problems. Additionally, I knew I would be getting worse graphics, and if I truly cared that much about it, I would have upgraded consoles. I don't. I enjoy my 360 and have no intent of upgrading any time soon. So, if anything I'm just happy this game was ported to 360. I absolutely love it so far, as does my wife. It is so, so much better than DA:2 (though Origins is still at the top of my list). So, I understand if many people are angry, and give it the low reviews you think it deserves. But for me, this game has brought nothing but joy, so I'm giving it 5/5.
Two things to mention:
First you do need at least 7.5 gb of hard drive space on your xbox for any 360 version so be weary.
Second if you've played any previous Dragon Age game or Mass Effect you know that their games usually import save files to carry over your games. The old save import system is gone, and they've introduced a new system called the Dragon Age Keep, a website (google it) and you must recreate your world story on there and you'll be able to export that into Dragon Age Inquisition.
Deluxe Version - 1/5 What sets this apart from the standard version of the game is the Flames of Inquisition armor and weapons, exclusive mounts, soundtrack and multiplayer items. Was it worth the extra ten dollars I would say no. These weapons don't give you any more advantage that a looted or crafted weapon can with enough time and gold. It's only meant for aesthetic purposes or hardcore fans. The mounts serve no advantage. Multiplayer only gives you a head start but with enough time you'll quickly catch up or craft a weapon that's just as good. Just buy the standard version.
Graphics & Sound - 4.5/5 - I'm going to mention this now. Choosing to buy the 360 version will come with a downgrade in graphics but that should be expected. Do not rate poorly all because "It doesn't look like the xbox one version" (like some one or two star reviews on here). For a 360 game, I found the graphics to be beautiful. Going into more detailed areas like the forests or temples were a wonder to walk though. Each area is detailed and set the mood for the area. The Tarot theme they went with, worked well given the franchises art style. The music is some of the best I've heard in this series and will compliment any battle.
Problems I would run into included textures not loading properly thus they looked even more blurred than normal. Often times music would cut out or all part of it won't play. One notable example is a bard singing however I would only hear the music and not the lyrics being sung. These were fairly minor and didn't come up often for me.
Interface - 3/5 - For the most part there was little issues I had with clipping or glitches of any kind and given how large this game is, that is saying a lot. That being said, there are glitches and one in particular was enough to bring down my rating since it could have broken my game. While in a conversion sometimes it will get stuck after a character speaks and won't continue. You can progress the conversion by hitting skip but you'll lose out on the next piece of dialogue. Load times are fairly long and it could get tedious if you need to reload anything.
Gameplay - 3.5/5 - I played on normal and changed to hard midway. The gameplay overall was fun and was reminisces of Dragon Age 2 with a tactical camera from DA: Origins. The focus on having a good team that covered all bases shined. Healing is more or less gone with only a few potions to aid you and you don't regenerate health, this actually works out well since it allows you to build more varied teams and no be forced to bring a healer. Replenishing potions is also free and abundant so you won't have to worry about exploring for a long periods of time. A crafting system for weapons and armor was added which I found it be very fun and allowed me to make a more customized character with armor or weapons I wanted.
Their attempt to streamline the game further caused the gameplay to take a hit, making the ability to assign specific tactics very simplistic and stats are auto leveled. The AI at times was bad and wouldn't respond to commands or stay put. The tactical camera didn't always angle correctly and I found myself using tactical mode less as the story went on.
Quests - 3.5/5 - This is a HUGE game. You'll definitely be spending a lot of time exploring and with the replay value you'll find yourself getting lost rather often. First the quests, there are dozens of quests many are engaging but the game suffers given that majority are fetch or `kill the thing, get item'. They try to make up for this by having every quest have a purpose, each one aids your forces and you gain points towards progressing the main story line. Despite this, it's hard to mask a fetch quest and this game had just a bit too many. If you enjoy exploring areas with companions making amusing conversion, you eventually don't mind.
Story - 5/5 - Perhaps the strongest point of the game and like many previous tiles it's the journey that makes the story. The overall plot is fairly basic. You're a man or woman (of four possible races), and you find out you're the only one who can stop a great threat. Gather a team together to stop a threat upon the land. If you choose to only focus on the main story you'll miss out on what makes this story great. As with any RPG, talking with everyone is key. Bioware gave the same deep story telling with interesting characters, each with their own opinions. Listening to their stories, investing time to do their quests, read the lore and you won't be disappointed. This is a story driven game thus the story is part of the game itself. Depending on what choices you pick can and will affect the game.
Multiplayer - 5/5 - I addressed some of the game play in my gameplay section, it's about the same and although it feels like it suffers a bit in the campaign, it's much more fun in multiplayer. A large reason behind this is due to your party having a brain and can make taking on dungeons more fun. It's coop onl,y similar to the mass effect campaign. You can also craft weapons and level up your character, making them your own. The multiplayer doesn't affect the campaign in any way and a rather fun extra to an already enjoyable game.
My Overall - 3.7/5 - I love the dragon age series and in all honestly I would give this a personal 5/5 since I enjoy every aspect of the game, even the glitches gave me amusement. At the same time the problems with the game can't be over looked. Some aspect of the game could get better with patches but for now this is the rating I give it. It takes 50 hours to beat if only doing the minimum.

There's a delightful level of customization options available if you like to tinker as well, not to mention the depth of the character customizer (except for the lack of hair options). Even after my 115 hour playthrough, there's a lot I haven't properly explored in the game (mostly to do with customizing Skyhold). I'm already working on my next playthrough.
Xbox 360 version isn't as pretty as the PC version, obviously, but it still looks great compared to other games on this platform. Had a couple instances where the game froze (black screen) and had to restart it, but considering the size and quality of the game, it's forgivable.
For a customization system falls short. Certainly did not exceed expectations.
